Visited this place during a weekend getaway trip. Loved it so much we went back again the next day. Everything was delicious over our two nights of dining. Sushi is super fresh and hands down best I’ve had, Seafood Pasta Jambalaya was phenomenal, desserts were different & tasty and prices are very reasonable. Best of all, staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Our server Alex was perfect! I truly recommend this place. Alex was great and she made my daughter's 6th birthday very memorable. Thank you. We will definitely be back!
Oysters on the half were excellent. Service was superb and meal timing was great, thanks to our waiter John D. Nice and spot on with everything. Will be coming back for more sooon. Was a great experience. Tiger roll was good too.
Great place!! I really enjoyed the Sheimp wrapped in bacon and the wedge salad! I had not been in town for about 14 years, and their service and food is as great as I remembered it!
Fresh as it gets, oysters had that taste of the ocean I was looking for, great service and maneger works the floor to check on each customer. My server Dray recommended the masqute salmon and he was Spot On.

Great place to eat in Corpus. Seafood and sushi are always fresh. Staff is always friendly. Marisa did a great job of making it a great lunch. The grilled redfish with Vera Cruz sauce was amazing. Been there many times over the years. Never disappointed.
Had an amazing lunch there! My first time trying oysters lol, thank you to the waitress Alyssa for the instructions lol, crackers and cocktail sauce made it perfect! Redfish was fresh from chalkboard menu and was awesome! I will definitely be back! :) 5 stars!

We were visiting Corpus for the weekend and ate here and loved it. Great atmosphere, great service and great food. Just what you want when on a mini vacay.
Stopped in with my daughter before an event for a quick small bite. Seated right away. Waiter was very friendly, but service throughout the meal. If we weren't in a time crunch it wouldn't have been so bad, so I can't take away stars for it. The drink I had was just right. Started with the edamame so we could have something right away. There was SO MUCH. My daughter got the burger with sweet potato fries. I had the pecan crusted oysters off the app menu as an entree. Both were delicious. And we split the most amazing smoked gouda mac n" cheese. If I had time, the desserts looked good. Will definitely be back soon.
Absolutely fantastic dinner experience. The oysters were clean not gritty. All be at they weren't huge but so flavorful. The sushi was also very good Adrian my server went above and beyond amazing she gave fantastic and they have complimentary valet will definitely stop again when I'm in Corpus
Went there with work colleagues for dinner. Calamari appetizer was fantastic. Had the crispy skin-on salmon for my entree. No complaints with the seafood or with the meat from all of us. Glazed carrots were undercooked and not very appetizing. Atmosphere was great and I would go back. Seemed a bit high priced for the food but definitely worth a shot.

Blue Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
Wow! The flavors in this dish are unique and completely original. You've had stuffed mushrooms, but not like this. When the dish arrives at your table, do not be intimidated by the fact that it comes out swimming in oil. Be excited for the mushrooms, because by the end of the meal, you'll wish you were swimming in that oil. You'll be asking for a to-go container to take any remaining sauce home with you! Please do not think I kid... that sauce tossed with some noodles... Mmmmmmm.
The texture is much like most of the stuffed mushrooms we've had and the preparation is on point. The oil brings deep flavors and heat. It's truly the sauce that makes this an obvious winner and why we drool over this dish.
Get a piece of that delicious, fresh baked bread to hold under that mushroom as you feed it into your mouth. Enjoy the heat and sweet of the sauce and how perfectly it compliments the dish. Then use that bread to sop up some sauce and some of those bits swimming in the bottom of the bowl. Trust us, you won't regret it! So great it made our Drooldish blog!
Bomb Digitty! Super good! We're from out of town and ate at Water Street for dinner last night and everyone LOVED it! The food was fresh from the ocean and not frozen. The oysters were the best I've ever had! The price was pretty good for the quality of food! If we ever go back to Corpus Christi we will make sure to eat at Water Street!

The staff was friendly and the quality of the seafood was excellent. A little pricey for the blackened red fish but you get what you pay for at Water Street. Quality is worth a little extra.
My wife was having a diabetic reaction when we arrived. Our server, Kyra, had crackers, hot bread & butter, drinks and appetizer to our table immediately! Food was excellent! Elton Carmona, manager, even stopped by our table check on us. Reasonably priced, too.

Cool place near the ocean. Service wasn't th greatest I've ever had but she never let my friends drink go dry. Seemed like the rice in the sushi was overly chewy and some of the vegetables in their rolls weren't as fresh as they could be. The calamari was to die for! As we're several of the speciality rolls. Worth checking out if you have a couple extra bucks to spend.
Great seafood. Just what you expect from an oyster bar next to the water, the oysters were great and fresh, and I had the drum fish, perfectly cooked, I recommend this place as the best seafood in corpus. Especially the oysters
Awesome! Best seafood in Texas hands down. I had raw oysters, sushi and some fried items. Hell, even the salad was freakin good. Oh and they had Shock Top Beef. Totally satisfied !

Water Street Oyster Bar. This quite an interesting restaurant for a Friday night. Between some friends and us, we ate mostly appetizers.
The dozen gulf oysters are good, as are the calamari and the shrimp quesadilla. All of those are great.
The atmosphere was relaxed and casual. We were there before the dinner rush, so had no problems.
For sandwiches, try the WaterStreet Po-Boy or the Grilled Honey Mustard Chicken sandwich. Both are quite good.
For something unusual, try the Crawfish Stuffed Chicken or the Sauteed Tilapia with Crab & Crawfish Nueces Sauce. Wow!
This place is not cheap, but you do get your money's worth in good seafood.
We went for the 4-7 (M-Th) sushi, oyster, and drink specials. Some of the oysters were on the small side with a few bits of shell found when eaten, but overall tasted good. That being said, we were completely impressed with both the speed and quality of the service and sushi. The restaurant was full at 6pm but our family with a preteen and toddler were comfortable and had a great time. Did I mention the service was great?

We really enjoyed our lunch! Sat at the bar and had some amazing crab stuffed mushrooms and split the shrimp enchiladas which were really tasty too. Great value!!

This is where we go when we have friends come to town that want to eat good seafood. Most of their stuff is appropriately priced. However their oysters on the half shell are 10 bucks a dozen. Which is a joke. But their food sure does taste good.

Same menu!. I generally regard this building as an extension of the main Water Street building. The food and menu are the same. I think the atmosphere at the oyster bar is better, its less stuffy.

Very good. I ate some very good sushi rolls, which have a wait that is about half an hour during their happy hour(they get backed up during this due to half-off sushi). They also had fairly good crab cakes as a starter. Prices seemed a little high but you are paying for the very nice dining experience.
Truly Excellent!!. I had the WaterStreet Roll (Shrimp, fire roasted red pepper & cucumber topped with seared blackened tuna avocado, finished with roasted poblano cream sauce & jalapeno ponzu) -- it was Truly Excellent! The Miso soup is ok but I've had better. The Oysters Rockefeller and yellow tuna steak were good but not great. But the sushi is the best by far!! I wish we had skipped the rest and just focused on the sushi and sashimi!! I will next time!!

Based on reviews expected more. First service was great and the waitress was very attentative, seated and served quickly. Was let down by the happy hour sushi rolls, guess for being half off shouldn't expect fresh rice, instead had rolls that tasted like they had been prepared hours before and kept refrigerated. Chicken bacon sandwich okay, nothing to seperate from any other place. Willing to try again based in previous reviews, maybe just picked an off day.
The food was great. Very fresh and the sushi rolls were amazing. Happy hour is a great time to go it was half off on the rolls. Great service and perfect for families with the relaxed atmosphere.
Our favorite Corpus restaurant.. We eat here on at least half of our visits. Excellent food and great service keep us coming back.
Appetizers - The Caribbean Dynamite Sticks are a must (unless you're having oysters on the half-shell, of course). But Water Street is one of those places I could nothing but appetizers - the quesadillas and crab cakes are good as well.
Dinner - I've tried several dishes, but keep coming back to the Embrochettes. Shrimp Enchiladas are a distant second.
Fresh Food. There are two Water Street restaurants on the same block, this is the one in the front. It has the same menu but has a bigger bar. The crowd seems to be a little louder at the Oyster Bar as well.
They have some great fresh food. Try the Wedge salad with the Walnut dressing. You will love it.
The wood grilled oysters were amazing. We downed a dozen very quickly. Has a unique butter that gets crunchy on top. The flavor was so good I’m glad we had the bread to dip in the butter sauce.
My husband had the fired seafood sampler. Today the fish was drum which was amazing. Crunchy on the outside and super flaky on the inside. No fishy taste - it wasn’t greasy either.
I had the blackened chicken Alfredo which was great. The Alfredo could have used a little seasoning but the blackened chicken helped some.
My son has the grilled chicken salad and added shrimp it was delicious. The kid’s shrimp boat was hot, and real shrimp not frozen my granddaughter ate it all!
My favorite restaurant to visit when in Corpus Christi. Great food. Worth every dollar. Staff is great! Food is even better! This is a must try and their happy hour from 3-6 makes it worth the visit. Gumbo, fresh oysters, awesome sushi and shrimp picayune are well worth trying.

Food was good, restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. Mac n cheese was real good, sushi rolls were a generous size and very tasty. Hush puppies were sooo good! Crispy, light, and fluffy. Only complaint was the shrimp Po Boy, it was a little light on the shrimp portion in my opinion and could’ve benefited from a slaw instead of plain shredded lettuce. Service was good and we didn’t wait very long for food.
A good yet pricey place for lunch. I grabbed a couple of beers and sushi. Top pick is the happy hour menu that includes half-price sushi! Service was good overall but snatched a star away since they didn’t have any idea about the craft beer selections.

Summer seafood eats can't be beat at the Water Street Oyster Bar. Although it was crowded they seated us promptly since we chose to eat out on the covered patio. Despite the heat, the ocean breeze made our dining experience thoroughly enjoyable.

My husband and I celebrated our 28th year wedding anniversary there tonight and everything was awesome. It was our first time there and every part of our meal was great. We had oysters Rockefeller, Mesquite grilled drum with a crawfish nueces sauce and key lime pie. Everything was awesome! Will definitely go back again

Great place to have a variety of seafood! Even on a busy Saturday night you might find a space at the bar where you will still get great service. Amazing mesquite grilled sampler of their catch of the day, shrimp and a crab cake. The jambalaya pasta is delicious with a Cajun butter cream sauce to match anything from the bayou. Riley took amazing care of us and the entire bar on a crowded Saturday night.
We loved this spot so much we ate here twice on our weekend in Corpus! Our server & bartender Nick absolutely crushed it. Highly recommend snagging a seat in the bar area if there’s a wait for a table. Great oysters, gumbo, sushi, and spicy margs!
Wow what an amazing and elegant restaurant! Perfect for brunch and all the bartenders were great conversation and welcoming. Being from out of town, it’s great to find outstanding service and delicious food in downtown Corpus.
I love oysters and their woodfired oysters are just incredible. I will definitely come back for more, filled w/smokey paprika butter cooked over a mesquite fire to lick hour fingers.
This is a fun spot to hang out and enjoy excellent seafood. The red snapper sautéed in a beurre blanc sauce is excellent. The seafood jambalaya is more than you can eat and is delicious. Come between 3 and 6 for half-price oysters, shrimp, and sushi.
Went for the water street market (every Sunday 10am-2pm) but stayed for brunch. There was complimentary blueberry muffins they were so tasty and I ordered the eggs benedict sardou which was traditional eggs benedict with spinach, artichokes, and bacon bits. It was amazing! It came with hash browns and fruit. Our server was new it was his second day his name was Michael and he was very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu and personal suggestions. This was only my second time eating here, but will definitely be back.

The drinks were good and the oysters Is for sure what they are known for. My husband and I didn’t like our meals of hamburger and lobster rolls. But the sushi and pasta was a better choice. Very clean and nice atmosphere
