I love this place! It hasn't changed in many years! Food, ambient, service, and prices are always good. The melted cheese with salsa they serve as appetizers are so good!!! Outside sitting is my favorite, colorful, peaceful, and comfortable. Only good memories from visiting this restaurant. It's like a secret (not so secret) island in the middle of a city.

We ate here on a Saturday night and had no issue getting a table without a reservation. The food was very good. Highlights were the complementary cheese dip served with the salsa and chips, the house made corn tortillas, and the house margarita. Frankly, everything we had was very tasty. The ambience was very festive and fun. We ate on the patio which was well heated on the cool, January night we were there. Our server was slow and kept disappearing. But, that was more annoying than a real problem. I highly recommend this for a casual night out.

For the price, I expected more. Mostly it was bland, I had the Cammarones a la Diablo which one would expect some sort of flavor out of. The best part of the meal was the corn tortillas which were pretty great. The wait staff was also a highlight, super friendly and attentive. If you want a pleasant dinner, this is for you. If you want flavor look elsewhere.

Fantastic! Just fantastic. In the area looking for some good food and decided to stop here. Pleasantly surprised by the food quality and menu choices. We had the shrimp cocktail, Caldo 7 Mares, and Flan. Octopus was the most tender and delicious I’ve ever had. Needless to say this was one of the best meals I’ve had in months perhaps even years. Thank you for a memorable experience and somewhere to look forward to visiting again.

Stopped in Coronado for the afternoon and chose Miguel’s Covina for lunch. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I wanted to try the classic fish tacos and the swordfish tacos and they were able to give me one of both. My husband wanted a burrito without the tortilla and it was plated beautifully. We also ordered a kids chicken taco and carne asda tacos for my sons . The plates were plentiful and very tasty.
