The Pine came recommended from our Marriott shuttle service. It is located on the lobby level of holiday inn. We sat at the bar, but there is a restaurant as well.
For the food, The chicken parm was excellent, the calamari was good, but a bit soggy and not crispy, but still worth it. The only disappointment was in the fried ravioli. Overall great experience.
Fabulous! The Linguini Jambalaya...Wow! So flavorful and great amounts of shrimp and chicken! Under $20 in NYC?? Worth much more, in my opinion. I’ve repeatedly been pleased with this restaurant both for quality and value. Today, Katherine, my server, was lovely. 5 Stars - without doubt.
Food was good and the staff was great! 🤤 Big Mets crowd! Enjoyed the garlic cheese bread, and really liked the Linguine Pescatore. If you LOVE seafood, it has shrimp, crab, scallops, mussels, clams, and calamari. My friend had the Shrimp Parmigiana and loved it.
I started eating before I took a picture, because the food smelled too good. It is worth every star. Service, prices and food quality, everything exceeds what I was expecting. Definitely would come here everyday if I could.
good food, the service is excellent, the tables and the bathrooms cleans and a pleasant atmosphere
I've been here a couple times now and the staff are always friendly and genuine. It's one of the best Holiday Inn attached restaurants I've been to. They have a great selection of craft (many local) and domestic beers on tap. They have a large Italian food selection, and the dishes I've had were great. They have karaoke on Friday nights it seems, and though I didn't participate, I had a fun time listening to many good singers belting out some oldies. If you get a chance, grab a LIC Beer Project IPA from the tap!
We haven't been there for quite sometime and we figured we'd stop in for old times sake. The restaurant has changed owners since we were last there but the service (Lori) was a pleasure to deal with. The food was very good. We only had a couple of heros and chicken fingers and fries for the kids, but it all tasted great. The drinks were a little pricey especially for queens but they were a heavy pour so we didn't mind the price.
Been coming here for a few years. My wife loves their baked clams. I like their baby back ribs. Huge portions. Too bad you cant share plates or its a $5 charge. The manager is always friendly when we stop by for dinner.
Pub food is pretty good, bartenders and staff are great. Entrees aren't the greatest, I'd stick with a sandwich.
The menu is overwhelming but the food we had was pretty good. The cheese steak (while basic) was pretty darn good. Great fare for after a Mets game and all the waitstaff we encountered were all friendly.
