Spicy margaritas are my go to drink and I have tried them all over the East Coast and Mexikind has the best margarita I’ve had thus far. Their Smoked Jalapeño margarita is outstanding!

Solid Mexican place in Timbuk2 shopping center with homemade salsas and craft cocktails. I recommend the Corolla Light. It's on the south side directly behind the Brew-thru. We ordered food for a 50-person event and were pleased.

I'm a little biased because I love Mexican food, however the food here is great! The queso is amazing. I also love how convenient it is. When at times most restaurants are so packed they won't take anyone else, or there is an over an hour wait. We could just walk into Mexikind and pretty much order right away. The staff was quick and helpful and the food comes out hot and fresh and in a timely manner. Even when the place is packed out service is timely and excellent. They have great mexican inspired food options. Or even just chicken tenders for the kids. They also serve alcohol and have a great selection of beers and margaritas among other things. Overall when we are in the outer banks this place is a go to and never disappoints! Highly Recommend!

Stopping here on vacation is a must. Just had the biggest and best burrito I've had in a very long time, at a very fair price. The kind surfer bro cashier was the coup de grace on top of a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Kid friendly but a respectable drink menu is available for those who aren't teetotaling.

I have been here 3 times this week alone. I absolutely love their ground beef tacos. Their queso and chips are delicious! Their salsa is yummy! My daughter really enjoys their mahi tacos too.
They’re very kind and give good customer service.
It is pricey but it’s a vacation spot so most places are. That doesn’t stop me from ordering because it’s so good.

Great food for less $ than another Mexican place in Corolla. Chips were hot and fresh, pico was great, and our bowls were both delicious. The only criticism I have is that the actual bowls that our bowls came in were too small. It was hard to mix without spilling on the table. Will definitely be back!

Vegan options! Friendly, helpful staff, but the follow-through is a bit inconsistent. The guy in line ahead of us brought his take-out order back because it wasn't right. Staff cheerfully fixed it. Our order wasn't made right either, but again it was cheerfully made right. So, not quite 5 stars, but attitude and customer service earns them a solid 4 stars.

Under new ownership and they have added their own flare to what was once solid fare. Very happy with the Asian additions. Got home made Lumpias, and an order of Bulogi tacos. Everything was excellent. Thank you for the home made LUMPIAS!!
Clean place and very friendly staff. You will love it!
They haven't gotten their liquor license yet, things will only get better when you can have a beer with your meal!
