Quaint little restraunt and bar. I went with a large group (11). The restaurant staff was very quick to seat us (it was the off-season) and start taking our orders. This is a very small restraunt and bar. I ordered a mixed drink and it was delicious. I would recommend visiting here. The scallops on a stick were very delicious. I wish it came with more than 4 scallops though.

I showed up with my parents and my aunt and uncle on the way. The 4 of us showed up before the other 2 and therefore; the “owners policy” is that “you cannot be seated until all of your party arrives”. I want to sit down and have a drink while I wait. Who does this????
Okay, after ordering the $77 filet and lobster, plus a dozen oysters. I changed my initial review of 1 star to 4 stars. The food was delicious and the bartender was very polite and prompt. The server was friendly, but busy, so not much time to explain a lot. However, our server did a good job and got the orders correct for all 6 of us. Everyone did love the food. My filet and lobster was the best entree by far! The cook did a great job and the lobster was larger than you’d ever get from any chain restaurant.
In summary, great food! I would recommend the restaurant. Just have all of your party ready to enter when you go. In their defense, the seating was limited; however, we could have waited at the large long bar. I was not expecting a small price tag, so the $400 total wasn’t surprising at all, plus the food WAS worth it. You do get what you pay for.

The food & service were superb. I had the steamer combo. It was amazing, steamed snow crab, steamed spiced shrimp, & steamed little neck clams. Enough food for 2 but I ate it all. My wife had the special scallop & shrimp & pasta dish. I was fantastic. Our server Angie was excellent. The overall experience was perfect.

Our group of 7 was seated promptly upon arrival, after a warm greeting. Our server, Juan Carlos, was friendly, attentive and very professional. All of the dishes we ordered were really well prepared and delicious! The flounder, on special, was lightly seasoned with Caribbean spices and cooked to perfection. Scallops with gnocchi were just as good. Cocktails were excellent as well.
I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Juan Carlos, and the kitchen staff for making our evening one to remember. We will be back!

Food was delicious! I ordered every single appetizer on the menu and they were all phenomenal. Our server was great. Drinks were amazing. The wait is long, so I would suggest you get there right when they open. I will definitely go again if I'm ever back at the OBX.

This restaurant actually was recommended by our tour guide, Richard, from Wild Horses of Corolla Wildlife Tours. My family and I went for the last night of our week vacation in Corolla. Absolutely incredible! Food was DELICIOUS, and our server was excellent. Each of us got a different meal, and no one had a single complaint. Between the crab cakes, pan seared scallops, seafood pasta, and even the Brussel sprouts - everything was fantastic.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Mostly due to the waiter JC. He made our night wonderful.
Also to hear that JC came from washing dishes and worked his way up shows others that anyone can achieve things in life if they work for them.
Food was fantastic and portions were large.
The fried calamari basket could feed four.
Wine pours were plentiful.
My partner had the fried seafood platter and said it was some of the best fish he has had. Shrimp were large.
The scallop special was cooked well and paired with local summer vegetables.
We sat in an extra room apart from restaurant so that part was odd but we enjoyed sitting in the window.

Everything was amazing! In a town where most food is subpar, it was great to have a quality meal. I highly recommend the mixed grille. It was well worth the wait. Once seated the food and drinks came out quickly.

Great upscale seafood spot in Corolla. Food was fresh and delicious as well as the excellent service.
Would definitely return.
Pro tip. get there when they open at 4:30p. by 5:30p there was already an one hr wait.

We sat at the end of the bar and had two bartenders waiting on us. One was very friendly, one was all business. Service was fast and the food was pretty good. Gnocchi was doughy, scallops were fantastic. Shrimp and grits were delicious, but would have been better if shrimp tails were removed. Sausage and shrimp soup needed salt, but had nice heat. Great beer on tap! Overall, a good experience!
