This place was an amazing find! We came here on a Thursday for their weekly trivia night and had a blast. The fried pickles were to die for and their wings were pretty good. Our waitress was a little distracted, but she redeemed herself when she introduced me to the very first beer I've ever tolerated, let alone liked. She had suggested it and, at my hesitance, offered to bring a sample. It was a good choice haha. We will definitely be going back for more trivia nights!
This is the place to go in Cornwall for a great beer or a mixed drink AND great food! I came in hoping for a decent beer. When I sat down, the bartender asked me a few specific questions and handed me a delicious porter! I asked for the menu and ordered zucchini fries and a lamb burger. I asked about the source of the meat and was told all about the local farm and given the number to call them and visit if I wanted. The fries and burger were delicious and it was so much food I was stuffed! Combine that with the beers on draft and I will never waste my time anywhere else in Cornwall NY!!
Nice bar, ambiance, great bartender, nice beer selection. pulled-pork quesadilla was amazing (and large, a lot of food even split between one guy and one girl). Went early on a Saturday, pretty quiet but everyone was nice and it was perfect for a few drinks and some bar food.
Have been here sporadically over the last few years and have seen alot of staff and management come and go. Most currently this past football Sunday. It would seem that beer selection, food, and tv situation is on point but staffing and leadership is lacking. My wife and I were at the bar from before the 1:00pm game and left at the beginning of the 8:00 game...many menu items out of stock and kitchen closed for 2 hours because they were "prepping". Also there was a customer dispute with an approximate 12 top that was vastly mishandled by the waitress, later to find out the manager was being contacted and never came to resolve the situation. All very unexcusable for a NFL Sunday which should be your cash cow. Again, food and drinks are amazing but staff and management need some work if they want to be relevant long term.
The food we got was very good, however our server was not. She would disappear for long periods of time even though it was not busy (we were the only table in the dining room). It was almost 1 1/2 hours from the time we sat down till our food arrived
Nice crowd driving is are alright depending what your getting but I must say they have amazing fried pickles and the sauce is great music is good depending what you play pool table if your looking for a nice crowd sweet bartenders and good food stop in you will definitely have a good time .....
Very nice diverse crowd. Bar always busy very friendly staff great food by Chef Matt Oliver. Pleasant atmosphere good prices. A smaller version of cheers in a small town.
I came to the Trestle to have a few drinks after a day of hiking Storm King Mountain. The regulars in the bar were very awesome and it had a good atmosphere. Would come here again if I'm in the area.
I've only been here twice since it is new. I like the friendly atmosphere and the choice of beer on tap. Can;t say anything about the dinners yet but the snacks are good.
This I my favorite restaurant and bar in town. The staff is all great, very friendly and the food is fantastic. Their weekly specials are always good.
The Trestle is an awesome place to meet up with friends, hang out, watch a game on tv. The staff are SUPER friendly and attentive. The food is great as are the drinks.
Good local bar. Good beer selection, fair prices, and a good atmosphere. Not too loud, but enough activity to not make it awkward.
Pleasant bar staff. Good pour of Guinness. Didn't eat, so no food review.
Awesome food, great drinks, great people. Always have a good time.
Great spot, food is very good (legit restaurant quality, not "bar food" quality), prices are super reasonable, service is super friendly, patrons are friendly.
