Stopped for a quick breakfast biscuit and I met two people walking in wearing identical hats. I started talking to the older gentleman when he told me that the younger girl was his daughter. He and his wife adopted her and his wife had passed a couple of years ago and his daughter was his everything and all that he had left. He agreed when I asked if I could take their photo. I wanted it to remember his heartfelt story that really touched my heart ❤️. As I got back in the car, I asked my wife if she wanted to have another kid, but she said at 69 years old that I would love to be happy with our three babies that we had (dogs).🐕🦺🐶🐕
Quick and accurate service from friendly employees. What else can you ask for. Restaurant was clean overall. Drink machine wasn't working, but they had signs on the door so people knew before they came in.
Under-staffed, definitely! But that's not necessarily their fault..people just don't seem to want to work anymore!
• There was a male Janitor mopping the floors that day, when i was struggling with the kiosk order machine (as usual) and trying my best to flag down an employee to help assist me... More than once, he offered his help, and I'm pretty sure that's not even listed as part of his job obligations. I wish I would have gotten his name. He was an older man. What a great worker!!!
But on another note, i hate that stupid kiosk machine.. i consider myself pretty tech savvy and still can't ever get that thing to do what it's supposed to,especially not in a timely manner.
I consider snacking at the poppy exclusively as entertainment, I wouldn't take this kind of food every day. I like to buy a Waffle cone when it's hot - tasty and inexpensive
