Happened to be in Corbin, so thought we'd check this place out.
This combination of free museum and KFC restaurant was really interesting (and 2022 newly remodelled).

This is the original KFC restaurant. The restaurant was so clean and the staff was very friendly. We were supper excited to get pictures. Definitely worth a stop if you are passing through Corbin.

Great experience. Great help and the chicken with the eleven secret herbs and spices was great. The young man, who had only worked there a couple months, cleaning the dining room was very informative and polite. A great representative of the KFC family. Enjoyed the on-site museum.

Finally reopened and it was worth the wait. Full of memorabilia, you'll take a trip down memory lane. A video plays on a wall TV of the Colonel (real one) telling his story. The food was super-fast, hot and delicious. It is now worth the trip! Must see! (and eat!)
Finally done with the remodel and adding the museum but they still don't have the inside open. Employees says it was because the owners want to stay safe because of covid but I've also heard they just can't find enough people to work. Maybe after the gov is finally done handing out money and people
Golly I can't wait for the next time I get to come here, I sailed here sometime ago on a mission and this KFC is not only the first one I went to, but also the first one built, and the best place I have ever eaten.
