Great service! Nice menu, reasonable prices, plenty of seating. The smoked trout dip is wonderful and is a large portion to share.

What a gem of a restaurant and experience. The food prepared here has no business being served in the sleepy little town of Copper Harbor; what an absolutely pleasant surprise!
I had the Balsamic Sirloin salad, a bowl of Lake Chowder (a fish chowder), and a few selections from their fine offering of local (to Michigan) micro brews.
I found the chowder to be warm and well composed with a wonderful texture and perfectly done portions of veg and fish; this warm and peppery experience took the bite out of the chilled weather of the day.
While the chowder was very good, the Balsamic Sirloin salad stole the show. Perfectly composed of sweet and savory flavors left my pallet entertained and looking forward to the next bite. The steak was perfectly prepared to order. Frankly, I'm having trouble coming up with words to describe this wonderful experience.
This place is now on my recommended list, and I will likely entertain the notion of a 12 hour trip just to come back in the future.

Aug 2023. My Husband loved the Seafarer Whitefish sandwich, so much - he had it 2 nights in a row. Perfect.
I had the Reuben the first night, then the Seafarer and both sandwiches were excellent.
Very reasonable priced sandwiches.

Good experience. Good food, service and selection. West busy but we were greeted right away. Wife had fish taco and she is a real critic of fish. She was good.

Dog Friendly out front. You have to go inside and order and bring your order out to the picnic tables yourself. The smoked trout dip was the bomb. I could just eat it by the spoonful. We split one of their artisan grilled cheeses: the smokestack (smokedbacon, smoked turkey, smoked Gouda, spinach, tomato and bistro ranch) with fries. Food was tasty. My relative paid but I went in to get food. I really liked the interior. Copper Harbor is great. So is this place!

I was so thrilled to find a restaurant that offered gluten-free options. The food was delicious and the service by our Romanian server, Anna Maria, was outstanding. Nice place that will call us back on our next trip to Copper Harbor.

Food was average, and service was not the best. Waitress seemed not to know the menu. When trout ordered got just fish and small piece of bread. Olives for olive burger cam as 5 whole olives on top of burger. Never asked how to cook burgers. Didn't ask what side wanted with dinners. Never came back to ask if wanted anything more for drinks, no water. Was told only cheese nachos came with beef (vegetarian ordered)

carryout lunch was good. a huge portion of fried fish. my girlfriend got thr fish tacos which were huge! she said they were good. I really wanted to go inside for a brew but opted for beer at the campsite instead they do have a good selection of beers on tap if you're thirsty.

Excellent restaurant. Really great casual atmosphere, recommend the BBQ chicken pizza💯! Might take a while if busy but that should be expected and will be worth the wait.
Park and playground right across the street, mountain bike trails, one of the last restaurants before heading further north.
