Rodeo Steakhouse & Grill

It's in a odd lication, but let me tell you- those ribs?! Omg, the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The steaks there are amazing as well. Great portions! The staff is excellent, tentive, and very personable. Their is a younger "kid" that works the front with great manners. We will be going their again when we head through Coos Bay :).

Omg this place was so fun! They have peanut shells everywhere and it's super family friendly. My 2 year old daughter got into a peanut fight with the other guests there. Hands down the best steak I have ever had from a restaurant. Cooked perfectly, the flavor was like none other, and it just melts in your mouth. We were in town visiting family and my boyfriend was a little unsure of the quality the food would be based on appearance, but he was very delighted once he was served. The bbq sauce was a bit spicy for my kids though so take that into consideration when ordering.

It's been several years since we have been to the Rodeo Steakhouse as it's hard to justify spending so much on a piece of meat when I can buy it at the store and make it a million times better. I normally smoke my meats and add a flavorful rub which is impossible to beat when it comes to the flavor of most steaks you can get at any restaurant. That being said, I was very satisfied with my meal. The salad had real bacon bits and the blue cheese married well with the other ingredients. My steak was cooked perfectly, which is 90% of the problem with most steaks gone bad. They say they are seasoned but I still had to add salt and pepper but I'm sure this is just due to my rubs having so much more flavor. I can acknowledge it would be hard to get this perfect for everyone though as some people just like a little salt and pepper and they are good. But to have it a perfect medium makes up for that and it was an easy solution to add a bit more seasoning to be completely satisfied. The wait staff was excellent and the husband/wife team went out of their way to make us custom drinks for our anniversary. We were well attended to for sure. The only negative might be the floors were very slippery. They do the peanut shells on the floor thing which makes for a mess but they felt extra greasy and treading lightly is a must. That was the least of my worries though as we had a great night and my wife's TNT burger was great as well. She had to add sauce though as they don't put any on but again just order some ranch and bbq sauce and all is well. I didn't have to cook so that was also a plus :)

Its a great place. I had a ribeye and was a bit surprised that it has as much grissle as it had considering these are supposed to be hand cut. Rolls were amazing, blue cheese salad dressing way too much mayonnaise. Great service and atmosphere. Steak cooked good with perfect seasoning. I would eat here again but not a ribeye.

Food was great! Atmosphere was less than. We attended the Rodeo steakhouse and we were pleased. The filet was fresh and succulent. The French dip was ok, but on the small side. They are wheelchair accessible and have restrooms. They have a lounge as well as video poker. A good place to have a steak on the coast

Looks like nothing from the outside but inside the food is fantastic! My son had their TNT burger and said it’s the best burger he’s ever eaten and he’s eaten many! “Dill pickle fries” are amazing and pulled pork sandwich is tender and juicy pieces of pork and the homemade blue cheese dressing on a house salad is incredibly good! Waitress was top notch! This meal was the most pleasant surprise on our road trip! Highly recommend!

Baked potato was actually a baked potato and was done all the way thro. Ribs were delicious and the grilled chicken breast was amazing. The waitress, Leona M was awesome abd extremely friendly. They have peanuts at the table and you throw the shells on the floor. So cool! We are visiting from madras and will be back to visit here!!
