Fenimore Cafe At The Fenimore Art Museum - Cooperstown - Photo album

This is a surprisingly large museum on a large piece of beautiful lakeside property where James Fenimore Cooper once lived. The exhibits of American art are first class. And when you’re done be sure to walk around the beautiful grounds and spend some time along the lake.
Amazing art museum with a renowned flagship exhibit of Native American artwork. There are also several rotating exhibits in the museum, as well as a small cafe and gift shop. If you’re passing through, I’d highly recommend visiting it especially if you’re interested in indigenous history.
A small museum with an excellent Native American collection. The grounds are stunning, so save some time to stroll around out back.

We spent about two hours, perusing the Fenimore art museums collections. We were very impressed with your collections of folk art and fine art along with their exhibition of Randi Johnson's photography and a cabinet of curious matters. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. It was our first ti
