An excellent dine in option.
CASH ONLY. So, come prepared.
Pizza was great. Crust was tasty and had a nice crunch. The additional salads we ordered were fresh and large enough to share.
Local brews were very good.
Service was great.
Our party of 4 visited in a Sunday afternoon and had a good experience.

I'm not from Montana. I'm not even from the US. But as a foreigner, this is exactly how I imagined a true country side saloon.
Had the Buffalo Burger and some Amber Ales and it was absolutely delicious. My girlfriend tried one of their pizzas (which were actually recommended to us by a local friend of ours) and she loved it!

After a very long trip across Yellowstone we took a chance there would be a town outside the NE gate. We were lucky to find Cook City. We were even luckier to walk into Miners Saloon. We looked at every menu in town before deciding on MS.
We ordered a house salad, chicken wings and 2 pizzas. The salad was big and fresh...the wings were top 5 I’ve ever had and the pizzas were thin and crispy, our favorite.
If you’re traveling through, I would highly recommend Miners Saloon.

My husbandband I ate here both nights we stayed in cooke city. The wings, beer, and pizza were all great. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a small, cozy local bar and grill. The service was good too.

Fun stop. Great food! The burgers change, but all are great. The pizza is fantastic. The beer selection is good. If you're looking for a true Montana bar restaurant, you found it. Also, this place is abtsoluy fantastic in the winter, seriously a winter oasis. Totally a MT gem. Well recommended!

Food was mediocre, my wife was hung up on for asking to many questions and then when I went to pick up the food and the bar tender was a major tool. We ate at the BBQ joint across the street, the BBQ food truck in Silver Gate and bought spaghetti noodles and sauce from the general store just so we didn't have to go back. Unfortunately there are very few choices for food for miles and miles away.
