Hard Luck Cafe

My wife and I stopped by for lunch on our way to visit family. We both ordered the 10 piece wing combos which came with steak fries and drinks. The table at the booth we sat in was very sticky. I got up and looked at the other tables and the one we were sitting at appeared to be the cleanest. It took 15 mins to get our order, the fries were very dark brown and crispy (overcooked), the wings were so tiny, I haven’t seen wings that tiny in a long time. There was no ice in the fountain machine, so we had drinks with little to no ice. I walked in the restroom to wash my hands and guess what? There was no soap in the dispenser and I also used the last towel in the dispenser. I generally like to use local businesses, but this was bad. Get better food and clean up your act or I’ll never be back.

Dissatisfied with my order of lemon pepper wings! I specifically asked for them to be extra crispy. When I checked I the store; they looked crispy, but when I bit into a wing, they were soft...as if they had been baked. Had I lived closer, I probably would have returned. I believe that they must be under new management because the last couple of times I was there, they were cooked perfectly! Based on my last experience, it's definitely not the best wings in Conyers or anywhere else.

Spices on fries were so overwhelming and hot. Took 38 min to get food then the wings were not hot. They were soggy and drown in sauce. The blue cheese and ranch dip were sitting on the counter in large bowls not kept cold. The buffalo chicken sandwich was horrible it had so much sauce, lettuce tom pickles onions and American cheese and only one tiny chicken tender. Never have I had it like this. Whom ever bought them needs to learn what wings are and how they are made. Never will come back

I WISH I COULD PUT NEGATIVE 10! I went to hard luck cafe and ordered 70.00 worth of hot wings . It was nasty dry and over cooked. I was heading back home to Texas 14 HOURS AWAY. I only went here because I used to eat here all the time when I lived here. Unfortunately it's under new management. I called and asked about a refund . The owners daughter. Told us we could have a refund we turned around just to be told no we can not. He refused to give us our money back. I don't have 70 just to throw away on nasty food. I dont want anyone else to have to deal with rudeness or bad food and customer service

I will not be going back. Stood at counter for quite a while before someone took order. The place looked dirty and worn out. Do I want to eat something from here?? Mine was a to go order of buffalo wings. When home I was disappointed that the wings were very, very small. Like squirrels legs. What a rip off. I couldn't find a wing that small again if I looked. We have gone to the "Wing Nut" here in town and their wings are good and normal size and worth the money paid. I don't recommend going to Hard Luck Cafe because that's what you'll get.

Management has changed! Atmosphere was different. I had been a long, long time customer!! I will not be going back as their health rating was in the low 80's. Cashier was not friendly. I told the cashier I would be eating it there. When my food was ready she stood behind the counter trying to get my attention. Previous management always brought my food to my table.

The star is for the friendly staff. But that's not enough to go back. The tables were dirty despite the fact that there were TWO people behind the counter doing NOTHING. The chicken wings were very tiny and the fries had some weird tasting seasoning that was reminiscent of Cajun seasoning but with something else added that made them nasty. Ugh, I'll NEVER take my nephew's recommendations again!
