We attended the V-Day, 5-course dinner at WunderHaus last night. To be completely cliche, it was wunderbar! Let me start with the cocktails. Auguste makes the best black cherry amaretto sour. I'm researching how to make these at home. The Hummingbird was also very delicious. Even if you just need a place to go for drinks while waiting for a table somewhere else, it's well worth the walk.
But, why would you go anywhere else for dinner (unless you're in the mood for fish, steak, or pasta - and I don't mean John Daly's - ick)? Every single meal we've had at WunderHaus impresses us more.
The Pork Osso Bucco stole the show. I realize they are Farm-to-Table and options change regularly, but if they could make this a permanent fixture to the menu, I'd probably eat it every time. We figured out stand-out ingredients for the best. polenta. ever., but we're not telling.
Everything was put together very nicely - honestly, with a wundercheffe's composition of flavors and textures. I seriously challenge any other chef in the area to match the creativity and execution. Everything was to season and while some of the dishes contained the same element, they were transformed in a way that highlighted a specific flavor in the element - designed just for that dish.
I pray that this talent isn't wasted on Conway. I've seen a number of people there ranging from local chiropractors to college kids. They are busy enough on weekend dinners that's it is a good idea to get reservations. I have high hopes that this is wildly successful!
My wife and I will continue to be patrons and we invite you to join us!
We stared with the Spaetzle, which set the tone for a delectable gastronomic experience. The menu is pork heavy, which left me the options of chicken crepes or brisket. I got the chicken and spinach stuffed crepes. My husband had the brisket. Both were incredibly savory, tender, elegant. With the first two courses being such a delight we (should have) couldn’t pass up dessert. Cheesecake and drunken cherries and German Chocolate cake. By the time our ticket came we felt as though Oompa Loompas would be singing a PSA song about gluttony. As good as the food was, the staff was better! Very reminiscent of small town, family owned eateries where like Cheers, everyone knows your name. . ($161 -we had a bottle of wine and 3 of the beers as well, so the price was absolutely a great price for the food quality and quantity!)

Gorgeous amazing food and atmosphere. Drinks and dishes dreamed up by special people. A must-try and try again in Conway, worth the drive from outside of town. Be ready to sit back, relax and indulge. Ask August for a story to accompany your dinner.
Cute place, with quirky drinks and amazing food. It is farm to table and man do they do it right. Started with a black cherry amaretto sour that was a delightful mix of sweet and sour. For a starter, we had the poutine with pork and beer cheddar sauce that could have a meal by itself and was perfection on a plate! Can’t wait to go back, hate they are so far from home.
Outstanding! Locally sourced, farm-to-table deliciousness. You can taste the freshness in their dishes. Fine dining at its best and now my favorite restaurant. Service was great - very attentive and super friendly staff.
The food has been consistently comforting, but not too heavy. There is a poverty of German type fare in Arkansas, and while this is German inspired it hits a great spot. The food is both familiar and comforting, light and fulfilling and utterly delicious. Flavors are phenomenal and they all pair well to make each better together than when alone. I am also grateful they have a wonderful selection of top notch German beers...ones you don't find at most places. They have light and dark beers, and plenty for those of us who don't prefer bitter or acidic flavor profiles. The service has been consistently friendly, I always feel like I'm being treated like a member of the family when I go. This is the first place I want to go, every time, for the rotating menu, great flavors, great libations and great service. This place is a do-not-miss in Conway.
Maria Theresa... just get it.. and thank me later. It has been a long time since I’ve been this excited about a restaurant. The thought and attention to detail with the food here is much appreciated. Service was also fantastic.
It is not often that I give a five star review. As the son of a highly respected chef, I tend to be fairly critical of any dish and most establishments.
The dish I had was in the top five dishes I have had since my father passed twenty five years ago. This is a must for anyone seeking quality, fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
This is my new favorite place to eat in Conway!
Absolutely love this place! Morgan did an excellent job serving us. Has a wonderful bistro farm to table vibe. We had the peponcini and formaggi dip. Love the combo of celery, carrots, toast rounds, and flax chips. Dip was savory and creamy. I ordered Sir Albert Howard. The squash stuffed with wine braised chicken, Onion aioli and artichokes. The flavors were huge and were amazing to your tastebuds. The Immigrant was delicate and so good. Sweet without being woodsy. Brisket was tender. Spaetzle was tender and delicious. The Maria Theresa was creamy and delicious. Was filing with a hint of sweet cheese. Had a wonderful selection of ciders and beers locally sourced. Also live entertainment on the patio. This is not a quick meal. Well worth the extra time for the premium dining experience.
First visit was NYE brunch. There's no place in Conway that has a brunch like this. Everything we ordered was over the top delicious. Unique creations, variety, and good service considering how packed they were. I understand that previous brunch endeavors were not as successful, but they've really stepped it up this time around. That being said, probably better to get there earlier in the day (if going for brunch).
I enjoyed myself! The food was good and it was nice to sit out on the patio out front. Each table there has a bit of a wobble but didn't ruin the experience. A little noisy with the hustle and bustle of Conway and the train but exactly what you'd expect. Recommend the Wunderburger. It was delicious and very fresh tasting. Wait staff was friendly and although I didn't eat inside, I went inside first and saw that the restaurant looked very clean and interesting... I'd love to try sitting at the bar next time.

This place is the best new restaurant in Conway. Had a blast chatting with August at the bar. Their food was hot, savory, full of flavor, fairly priced and most importantly, locally sourced. They are the best new venture in town, hands down.
The food was great even though they won't have their full menu until December. Everything was freshly cooked and came out hot which shouldn't be notable but a lot of places around town food will come out just warm or cold. Everybody inside was super friendly. I had the Vlad Poutine which is pork over potatoes and smothered in beer cheese which came with a little side salad with a vinegar dressing that was great. Some people might want to request less cheese sauce but it was perfect for me
