We finally tried Luvan's this Mother's Day and we thought it was wonderful. Everything was fresh and made to order. The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. I had the seafood platter...the deviled crab was okay but the rest was delicious. I recommend!
Got there when it opened so had the whole place to myself. The catfish was absolutely the moistest(sp) fish ever. Plenty of food and extremely accommodating. Will return.
We have eaten here before. We got the Senior Flounder plate. $10. Two large pieces of Flounder with a generous serving of slaw. Choice of potato…I got French Fries he got Baked Potato. All of the food was delicious.

Quaint log cabin atmosphere. Albeit the ongoing heat wave, their A/C was barelykeeping up. The staff was very friendly. I had catfish. I was disappointed because it was batter-fried instead of fried. I'm not a fan of batter-fried food, but I didn't know that when I ordered it.

Seafood at its best me Randy McDowell and crew are the best they sure know what there doing . The price is great will be back soon Thanks for such an excellent meal.
If you want a restaurant that has excellent food with good portions, great service with good prices and would rather have that over a restaurant with great atmosphere this is your place.
We have been here a dozen times atleast and have never been disappointed.

This place is like no other. A little wood cabin on the roadside of 701. $19 for 10 broiled scallops that were cooked to perfection. Served with a choice of potatoes or rice and a salad or coleslaw. Of course, hush puppies while you wait. The food is cooked to order, so you may need to wait, though
If you want really good food at reasonable prices, this is the place. Just don't go when busy, you may wait, but the wait is worth it. Now the restaurant has changed to reservations only in 2022. Also don't forget no credit or debit cards, cash works.
Always good food. Fresh, hot and large portions! Laid back atmosphere.
I would love to see fried green tomatoes added to the menu during the season.
Oh, and the desserts are to die for. Take one home if you don't have room for another bite right now!
I'm just a simple jersey boy and my neighbor showed me this place. The food is amazing.
Cash only, come hungry and have patience. Gotta make a reservation. I never have a problem making a reservation maybe some of you are a little bit impatient 😉. It's one dude usually working.
