Krispy Kreme

When I saw the signage from the road a few hours after arriving in town, I knew where I would be the next morning. The whole family joined me and we were not disappointed. The process of donut creation was in full view. Uncooked donuts dropped into hot oil, flipped over, ran through the glazing curtain and then cooled. Krispy Kreme hats were on the kids heads as they watched the process. We ordered a dozen glazed donuts and they were pulled from the line. Fresh, hot donuts were consumed less than 2 minutes after the first entered the cooking oil. We were in sweet sugary breakfast heaven. This process was repeated again and will be again if we return to the Concord NC area.

This Krispy Kreme makes HOT FRESH DONUTS omg, they also sell shirts, hydration flasks, coffee mugs and key chains. They have this amazingly huge pink frosted donut on the outdoor patio that you can sit on, I added pictures of it. They also have mobile ordering and pick up here too. I enjoyed my donuts and hope you all do to...happy snacking

Here is my issue: I ordered online a holiday item I knew was popular. I ordered at 7am for a 2:30pm pickup. I expected my early order to be boxed and waiting for me. But no.👎 When I got there, I was told they were sold out! I had to cause a bit of a scene, confront the manager, and finally they remade the order, making me wait 30 minutes. No apologies, no coupon, no discount, no call from corporate. Nothing. I have not been back. Store was clean, donuts top notch. Service, not so much.

This place has fallen off big time. The people are still nice but the quality is abysmal. Look how many donuts there are that get thrown away. The donuts are crunchy, the glaze is crystallized, and the donuts are not formed correctly. The lifts for the donuts don't get cleaned regularly and neither the spindals as they are covered in caked up glaze. I've never seen it like this before, actually I have wheb I was here a week or two ago.
