Monument Grill

Came in with high expectations based on great reviews. The staff is nice, but the food and the service leaves a lot to be desired. It's very much a hole in the wall type of place. Very low key with questionable ingredients in the food, like fake cheese. It seems to be popular with the locals based on reasonable pricing for all the food offerings. If you're ok with precooked good sitting around and being reheated before served to you then this place will meet your expectations. They make an effort to have a neatly presented plate.

Many times, when you get an omelette and hash browns from a restaurant, you get a messy splatter of eggs and a greasy amorphous blob of what may or may not be potatoes. Monument Grill, however, is DIFFERENT. Not only are their breakfasts delicious, filling, and reasonably-priced, but each time, the presentation of the food has been awesome. Last time out, my Denver omelette was cooked to perfection and the accompanying hash browns were brown, fresh, and not greasy. The plate looked appealing and mouth-watering. Great place for breakfast. Can't wait to try their lunches!
