The food & atmosphere is always the best. Our waiter remembers us each time we are there even if we don't have him for the night he makes it a point to come spend time with us! Love this place!!!

In the local area visiting family and was taken here for dinner. Being from Chicago, I was skeptical about this place being authentic, as Chicago has incredible Mexican restaurants. First off the ambiance is great. The interior decoration and lighting worked very well and had a San Antonio vibe about it. The service was great. We were seated quickly and the wait staff was friendly and professional. I can't lie. I have had better Mexican food, but I wasn't disappointed in my meal. I had pretty nice portions and every one enjoyed what they ordered. I'd recommend the place to any looking for a good Mexican meal.

My girlfriend goes to lunch here at least once a week on her break. The waiter, Pancho, flirts with her endlessly and gives us poor service when I’m with her. Please hire some more mature people El Rio!
