Peking Chinese Restaurant

I not impressed at all. Food was bland. I'm from Atlanta and egg foo yung gravy is brown and has flavor. Ordered a large wonton soup and there were only 4 wontons. Egg rolls were decent. I will pass by if I'm ever in town again. The only reason I ate it was because I was starving after a long drive. I would have taken it back otherwise.

Super disappointed. Tried this place out based on good reviews. I had a very simple order of chicken and broccoli, with rice as a side along with another meal for a second adult of Szechuan chicken with rice as a side again. The second we opened our food it had an odd smell but we decided to try a few bites anyways. The chicken was anemic looking with no flavor or color in a gooey white “sauce”- it tasted like cornstarch and water! Yuck. The vegetables were not fresh by any means and seemed straight from a can. The rice tasted old and was unpleasant as well. The second meal was even worse. I wasn’t expecting anything 5 star but was hoping for something tasty and edible. Ended up throwing away both our meals which was obviously disappointing to be throwing food and money away. Would not recommend. Save your money and do not try. Zero stars.

I grew up in Columbus, MS but currently reside in TX and hadn't been to this restaurant in more than 15 years before today. I have traveled all over the United States and a few countries but have never found better Chinese food than this place. Peking is the king of Chinese food and the sweet and sour chicken is my favorite. I could eat it for days from here. Everything they do is good but beef skewers, fried rice, Mongolian beef and s&s chicken are exceptional. I hope this place creates a chain that spreads across many states because what they do should go farther than Columbus. I'm just glad to see it still in business after 20+ years and grateful for having visited the finest establishment for Chinese food in the world.

Absolutely terrible!! Everything seemed at least a day old and had been warmed up. I am totally convinced we were eating yesterdays food. Dry, burnt crusty... the fried rice had been keep for so long it had become some what like mush, very gooey. The MEXICAN waiter was good though.. Won't be back and can in NO way recommend this place.
