The Savory Swine

It was a great experience dining here. It was quick to pick out our food and start dining. The environment is also relaxing, with some interesting information about wines and meat on the chalkboard. I ended up ordering a Reuben sandwich and a pasta salad. Both were extremely good. Just know the Reuben had cole slaw in it, and that the vinaigrette dressing is extremely strong on the pasta salad (though I liked it because it had a lot of flavor). Also know that water is not free but it is cheap. I enjoyed it there and the staff was nice too.

Visited 8/9/18 What an open atmosphere, just a few tables and wooden chairs. The meats displayed in case capture your attention. I wanted to buy it all... We ordered deli sandwiches. These sandwiches are good, but PRICEY. Two sandwiches, mac n cheese side, and chips cost $19. The size of the sandwiches was a smidgen bigger than a hamburger bun. You get 1/4 lb of sliced deli meat, 1 cheese... etc Would we eat here again, probably not, but you don't come to the Savory Swine for food but rather the meats! Excellent selection of pork and beef! They also have fancy ice cream!

Went there for lunch again today. I just love having this option for carry out, close to my office. When you walk in it just feels better than going to the fast food chains and you walk out feeling like you supported the community. Tried the baked beans today, and they were fantastic. And I am a baked bean connoisseur.

Love stopping here when I go thru Columbus... such a great alternative to fast food. Yesterday I ordered an Italian with a side of fruit salad & a Sprechler's Cherry Soda... yum!!! Made fresh in front of you. Happy that they looked busy, even during non prime hours. If I was local, I'd definitely shop for meats here. We have a similar place locally that we go to regularly. I need to try a meal salad next time! Forgot to take photos...I was so hungry!😋
