Hardee's

Even though I went through the drive-thru. I had a great experience at this Hardee's restaurant. As you can see the food looks just like the advertise pictures that you see on TV commercials. You couldn't ask for a higher quality of food. Everything was hot fast and delicious... PS didn't know they had grits you can get those and replace of the hash rounds..

Just had a shady encounter- I ordered the following: 1x 2 for $5 double cheeseburger($5) 1x 3pc chicken tender ($5) 1x combo meal ($9) The cashier told me the price total and I gave my credit card. I thought she had said “20.70” which is in the ball park. She gave me the credit card and a non-itemized receipt (clue #1) back with a total of $27 on it. I asked why it was $27, and she replied that it was probably tax and that the meals are expensive. Doing the arithmetic in my head, I knew it was wrong so I asked for the itemized receipt. After producing the itemized receipt, she then walked through all the items, highlighting an extra meal ($10) and a half back refund ($5) from the extra meal. After explaining it still didn’t add up, because I paid for the other half of the extra meal, she pulled out a calculator. After realizing I was due a return, she paid me cash. Super shady. Do not go here; check your receipt if you do. I’m pretty sure they wanted me to buy them lunch.

This store is basically just an elaborate scheme to steal your money at this point. They will do everything possible BESIDES give you what you ordered, if they give you anything at all. We ordered one meal and a 9 piece side of pepper poppers. Simple, right? We went through the drive thru. They had us pull up, no problem. A worker comes to bring our food to us but it’s not our food, it’s the food for the people behind us. Again, no problem, it happens. The worker comes out two more times to bring food to two other cars that came after us. We wait 30 minutes. The lobby is locked, so we have to go through the drive thru again to see what’s going on. They tell us that they “accidentally” threw our food away and that they have to remake it…..No lie, it takes them 20 more minutes to make our food and give it to us. We were here and waiting for an hour. We get home and guess what? We’re missing fries for the one meal and we got a 6 piece side. It’s LAUGHABLE at this point. Don’t come to this location.

Had to ask for my change back (was only 50 cents but was given a dollar for some reason from drive-thru). Then had to go inside for a new drink because the one they gave me was diluted and they said there was a price difference to get a different drink. They wouldn’t give me a refund either because of their manager being busy. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I understand being busy, but if you’re going to make multiple mistakes over it then maybe get better training or management. The kid who maintained drive-thru was beyond rude but they lady I spoke to inside seemed more level-headed, but even with the manager being right up front, she didn’t even look our way.
