First time here. Food was great, definitely felt like down home southern cooking! Would have given it a 5 but the food was lukewarm although still delicious, needs to be kept hot. Also the customer service was pretty bad, definitely needs some work.

3.5 stars This was my first time visiting Ed's. The food was good, not granny amazing but good. The menu options are solid. Honestly if I were just rating on that, 4.7 stars! The customer service from 2 out of the 3 people I interacted with was great. However one lady said she was too drunk 🥴 to make my food, and it's too many customers coming in and out. I came in a slightly after 12 on a Saturday and it was only 1 other customer in line at that time. This clearly embarrassed other lady helping me, so I think its safe to assume this isn't a regular occurrence. Even with drunk aunty levels of customer service, Ed's has really great potential, good food, great location and atmosphere. I'll definitely give them a few more shots. Photo: Turkey wing with gravy, rice, sweet potato, cabbage and mac and cheese on the side. The rice was slightly underdone, but once mixed in with gravy and a little salt it was manageable.

We didn't take a photo of the food; though says that we had no complaints about the meal. First time eating at the facility. We had been told that the food was good. The people were in and out getting their lunch, or dinner to go. The dine in was spacious and pleasant. The food was seasoned well and good.

I have tried this location twice. The first time it was delicious. I went for a second time and it was mediocre. I had the smothered pork cops , rice, dressing, greens and Mac and cheese. I will say taste wise it wasn't a consistent taste compared to the first visit. The rice was over cooked , the dressing had something missing or to much of an ingredient , the collard greens and the mac were phenomenal compared to the first visit , the pork chops were over cooked as well. I'm not bashing the establishment I just would like to see consistency with how the dishes or prepared otherwise the prices are decent for as much as you get and I will definitely return and hope to change my review from a 3 to a rating higher..

I try to support black businesses but sometimes the people make it hard. The food is almost always great but the service not so much. It would be nice to be greeted with a smile sometimes and to have the workers feel welcoming and not in their own conversations. But I overlook that because the food is good. However, if you going anywhere near closing time like 3-4 hours near closing time they tell you they ran out of stuff and they’re not making more. Why is that? If the store is open until 8 then why is most of the food gone by 6 and nobody willing to make more. This is why I took a long break from this place. 5 o’clock which is dinner time when everybody is getting off work, but they’re sold out of ox tails, sold out of yams, sold out of collards and everything good. It’s hard to keep supporting them. SMH

Pretty good good and prices are great. Spent $15 on a smothered chicken meal with mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, sweet potato yams, cornbread, and a slice of red velvet cake. Nice eating for a Sunday afternoon 😇

What a gem! We often shop at the Publix next door and have talked about visiting Ed's a number of times...I'm sorry we waited so long, because we had a truly wonderful experience! We were greeted with friendliness, the daily menu was clear, and the service was quick! The restaurant was clean and every bite was delicious! Found it to be very affordable and honestly felt like we were eating in the home of extended family. We will definitely be back!!
