Wasabi

Loved this place place. Ive been eating vegetarian since the beginning of the year and they had several delicious choices to choose from. We ended up getting the vegetable hibachi plate and the vegetarian sushi (it was actually vegan). The vegetable tempura came with one of them and i cant remember which one. I also got a salad and a bowl of miso soup that i forgot to get pictures of. The service and drinks were great and the cost was reasonable. We will definitely be back soon to try some other things!

Me and my husband went and picked up food from here. When we got home to eat the food it looked like this. There is no seasoning. The breading doesn’t even stick. There also was a whole bunch of oranges in the box with our Meal and made it taste like oranges. The fried rice is sweet. And we waited for our food and they set it down and didn’t say anything, so we didn’t know it was ours. It had sat for awhile.

This is the first restaurant I have been to in Columbus, and boy has the bar been set high! I liked their interior decoration and the layout of the booths and tables. There was a booth or walkway between the other groups, and I really appreciated the attention to keeping customers safe. The music was familiar, and screens played of the current football game from most of the walls of the restaurant. I especially liked the art of the woman in the kimono on the back wall. I went here with family, and the waitress, Bella, was attentive and gave us recommendations for what is popular on the menu. She spoke highly of the Lady Gaga Roll and the Mermaid roll, but we only ordered the latter with the rest of our order. The food was delicious! The sushi was fresh! The fried food was warm and crunchy! The plum wine was light and a little smoky- absolutely delightful! My family mentioned that day was my birthday, and Bella surprised all of us with a small platter of frozen strawberry mochi drizzled with chocolate with a candle burning on top at the end of the meal. This really was a wonderful end to my birthday, and I am glad I spent it at Wasabi with their wonderful staff! I will definitely be returning!

Very disappointed in my food today. Sushi barely has any rice and falls apart so easily. Soup is flavorless. Gyoza is the only good thing in my order. I waited for 10 minutes before being greeted for my to go order. Almost feels like they don’t appreciate to go orders like they do the folks dining in. The person behind me was sat down before I was even greeted. There are too many Japanese sushi restaurants around, I will not be returning.
