Place was dead when we arrived for dinner on a Wednesday. My first thought was this was not good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I like good flavor, but not too hot spice wise and the restaurant was able to accommodate my request. The location is a little small, but I c
We tried New Sapphire after hearing that it had opened in a previous Indian restaurant's space. We were not disappointed. The owner took a personal interest when we asked for for his recommendation. The quality of their meats and appetizers were second to none. We will be coming back often.
Very delicious, very flavorful. We went for Friday lunch, and we were the only people there. So the service was great, and they were generous with bringing chai, nan, and dessert at no extra charge. We got palak paneer and a yellow lentil dal, and I loved them both.
One of the best Indian places I've had in a while, they seem a little new and I hope they do well. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is better than most places it has a savory sweetness to it that other places don't have, I don't normally order that unless I am having it here. The Samosas are soft and tas
We drive past at least 4 well-regarded Indian restaurants to get takeaway from this one. Have also had very nice lunches here. It’s a young place, staffed by young people. And with that comes a bit of disarray. But the food...is legit.
The restaurant was quiet and empty and the service wasn't great which was weird, but the food was excellent. We had samosas, garlic naan, tikka and some aloo mater which was the right level of flavor. The service really left a lot to be desired though.
Another Indian restaurant has moved into 1140 Kenny Center Mall [around the corner from the Kenny Rd. Staples]. Sapphire Indian Cuisine has moved into the former location of Cinnamon Indian Grill. In case anyone is interested, Cinnamon Indian Grill is now located at 2628 N. High St. Sapphire India
It's dinner if the best Indian food in Columbus. There are a lot of things on the menu I haven't seen anywhere else. The interior is a bit lacking but it makes up for it in deliciousness.
Ordered the chicken biryani. It was delicious! I ordered through EatStreet, delivery was 25 minutes after the estimated delivery time. For what they lacked in delivery, the food made up for it! I will/would order again.
I ordered The sapphire tandoori mixed grill and the lasuni gobi. The mixed grill was excellent. The meats were tender and well seasoned. The lasuni gobi had a sweet taste, similar to a general tso sauce. Everything was very tasty.
Delicious food either off the menu or daily buffet 11:30-3:30pm; friendly staff; clean, pleasant dining room. My new favorite place to go.
First time I tried this restaurant and the food was great! The Somosas are really tasty and have a great texture to the filling. Will definitely order from her again!
