Shrimp Hut

I had been waiting to try the lobster dinner since the weekend before, because I saw their ad on social media. It did not disappoint, along with the fried shrimp, and greens which they seasoned with no meat - thank you very much! The other guest had whiting, which was enormous and tasty, along with french fries and greens. They could have gotten a higher score because their food was great but as we told them we were "dining in", we had to ask for utensils and napkins. They also had no drinks to order. I'm sure they'll fix those things quickly!

Okay, judging a book by its cover WILL NOT DO YOU ANY GOOD judging this joint. Extremely accommodating staff with some of the best wings I've ever had. Quite honestly, Wing Stop has nothing on these guys! They had us try a new sauce that had some kick to it- it was AMAZING for those that like to enjoy the spicier things in life. If they end up integrating it into their menu and setting up a wing eating challenge- I'd do it in a heartbeat. My brother-in-law tried out their shrimp and catfish meal. It was also incredible. Don't think twice about trying this place out.

Low profile location, High profile menu! Located on Yearling, this spot is serving up delicious seafood, seasoned just right, for the best prices you can find. The lunch specials are great but the dinners are what you should be going for because the portions are fantastic! Food is freshly cooked, so there might be a brief wait but worth every minute. The Staff is super friendly and make sure your order is right before leaving. This is a must try for sure! I will see ya there.

Chicken was so salty it was inedible. Wasnt cooked crispy. Perch was overcooked. Mac and cheese was greasy fake cheese and tasteless. This was the 3rd time getting food here. The first 2 x it was great and my only complaint was the long wait as it appeared they were short on help. Idk if the original cook quit or what happened over the last few weeks but I do not like inconsistant quality food. Will not be returning. 360 degree turn from how it was before. Update 5/3/21 Gave them another chance after speaking with them. Chicken wings have been excellent last 2 x we visited!! 3.5 stars and will give more once Intry the fish and sides again...if they've improved.
