I'm really big on customer service, maybe they should get a bell to go on the door to let them know that someone entered the store. In My case, the resturant was empty when I walked in a gentleman in an apron was getting up from one of the tables and headed to the back. No "hello" or "welcome" no kind of acknowledgement, then I stood at the counter for a few minutes before anyone said anything. Finally a lady came to take my order, she was very pleasant and told me my order would take 25mins. So I sat and waited, while I was waiting a couple came in and again, no one said anything after about at least 4 mins of waiting the lady came to take their order. I did get my food before the estimated time which was great, just maybe even a shout from the back," be with you in a moment" or "welcome" would be nice! Now to the food! The food is delicious, will I be back......YES! Get the backend chicken with bowtie pasta!

LISTEN TO ME. We went to Cajun Island yesterday after driving past it for so long we finally took the plunge and I have discovered a new favorite. With a quirky and weird atmosphere but a delicious home cooked feel, Cajun Island is my new go-to to take friends from out of town. I got the shrimp and crab pasta with lobster sauce and they got the blackened chicken and both of the dishes were out of this world flavorful. The spices were just right and the portions were quite large. I can't wait to go back, it was such rich food and I can't wait to try more. Highly recommend on stopping here for lunch or dinner. I will be stopping for party platters the next event I host because this food is too good not to be shared with everyone!

Great food. I enjoyed the blackened chicken Alfredo. Service was nice. I got the feeling it was a family business, or at least black-owned. So I was happy to support a great business with great food. Both the interior and exterior were cool. Tropical looking aesthetic with some quirky decor. I ordered takeout, but I’d love to see the dine-in experience too!

Friendly folks, but it takes a while to get your food. Not a good option if you have limited time. The restaurant smells amazing, the food is good, but I was hoping I would taste more of the Cajun spices. It wasn’t as flavorful as I was hoping, and it wasn’t at all hot (spicy). I had the crawdad etouffee. I’ll try them again, and I’ll ask for extra spicy next time.
