Paradise Biryani Pointe

I have been living in Columbus for quite a while now but I am not sure how I missed this place all the while. This weekend I decided to try out an Indian restaurant in the vicinity which I have never been to or never have ordered from and Paradise Biriyani Pointe is what google led me too. I can't say no to a good Biriyani and I headed there without much expectation. My expectation of Indian food in Columbus is set to a low by default from my previous experiences. But to my surprise, their buffet was pretty intriguing with at least 5 different options of Biriyanis. The special Biriyani, was excellent with the right level of spice and taste. This restaurant is quite spacious and I was a little surprised that much of it was empty. Probably because I visited during a Sunday. I would go there again and would definitely suggest it to others.

My first time in town and trying out Paradise which is a classic Hyderabad specialty. Given that I don't eat meat, the veggie choices were plenty. Entering in, I got a whiff of meat smell that I felt wasn't very welcoming. On taking a deep view of the menu was able to find my go to dish which was light enough for one person and at the same time filling. It's an indochinese dish called the Egg Schezuan noodles, which is basically veggies and egg and noodles tossed in Schezuan sauce which is typically red and spicy. The dish turned out exactly as I expected, and was darn good and tasty. Was so full that I couldn't try anything else, but is a good testament for the fact that this place makes fresh good food. While I was in the restaurant there were a lot of takeaway orders. The four star is only because of the ambience as they should do something about the strong meat smell that dampens the first impression. Go for the food, is what I can say.

Arrived late for lunch buffet, however allowed us to dine anyway. Was grateful and pleased with the quality of the food. Vegetarian options are plentiful, tasty with just right amount of heat. My guest had the best options and related how tasty they were also. The staff who allowed our late arrival was polite and very helpful/ knowledgeable of the menu items. I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely go back.

We went during the first Friday when this restaurant was started and it was super crowded. Paradise biryani is famous for its biryani. During the first week we couldn't try all the items due to crowd. Have been there multiple times after that only on a non Friday to avoid crowd. Love all the desserts, appetizers and curries. Less than $12 for buffet and I recommend this to everyone.
