The ingredients were fresh, the portion sizes were generous, and the flavor was great. We especially loved the messy fries.

YUM!!! We got the tonkotsu and the crab rangoon and I would eat it all again tomorrow. I usually get bored halfway through a bowl of ramen, the same flavor just becomes too much for me…but this tonkotsu was amazing. The noodles were super flavorful, the pork in it was thick cut and juicy (other ramen meats always seem to be overcooked) and the broth was unlike any other I’ve had before. Everything about it was delicious. Great recommendations from the server!!

This was my second time there. The food is amazing 🤩 it's hard to describe the flavors but everything blends well together. Amber my server very nice and answered all questions. The owner Megan I actually know her from Sunny Street Cafe. Try it you won't be disappointed.👍 just had lunch 😋 there today it was delicious 🤤 put this place on your list of places to go. The owner (Megan) was just featured in September issue of Columbus Monthly with 14 other businesses. Just had lunch there today again excellent 👌👍

A staple of the downtown Columbus ramen experience. A nice atmosphere with even a tatami room (though you need to call ahead to get seated there). Unique ramen dishes like mushroom based or pozole ramen, plus expected staples like shio or tonkotsu. Good selection of different kinds of sake, as well. I recommend the apple or nigori for a unique experience.

I had to give Ampersand five stars on everything 😂👍🏽 I love a good ramen and it’s getting cold so it’s the perfect time. The appetizers are good as well…best crab ragoon I’ve had in Columbus. I have a few favorite ramen spots this is definitely top 3!

Hey folks, so here’s the scoop: if you ever find yourself wandering High Street in Columbus and get a hankering for some really good food, you might just stumble upon this gem like I did. They had a sign for ramen, and being the noodle-lover I am, I had to check it out. Turns out, it’s this cool, small spot that’s clearly run by someone who knows their way around Pan-Asian flavors. My family and I loved it so much, we went back a second time. Yup, it’s that good. From small plates to mains and desserts, we pretty much tried a bit of everything. And, spoiler alert, it’s all tasty. The place isn’t huge, but it’s got this warm, homey vibe. Plus, you can kinda peek into the kitchen, which always makes things feel a bit more personal. Now, if you want a surefire winner, try the pork belly buns. I know, they’re everywhere these days, but trust me, theirs are something special. And don’t even get me started on the ramens – flavorful broths that’ll make you want to slurp every drop. Oh, and before you leave, try the sesame seed crème brûlée. It was a touch sweet for me, but the twist on the classic was super interesting. All in all, if I’m ever back in Columbus, you bet I’ll be grabbing a table here. Give it a shot if you’re in the area!

The food was outstanding. The flavors were sophisticated and complex. The chef and staff were attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was chill in such a busy and bustling part of town. Couldn’t have been happier with this random choice of restaurant.

This is the first time I give a restaurant a 5/5 star review!! Ampersand is legit our favorite place, we have tried all the ramens and all the appetizers and we love absolutely everything on their menu! My fav is the Fungus Among Us and my husband loves the Tonkotsu, their Crab Rangoon, the steamed buns the crispy calamari, everything is just so perfect! Their staff is so nice, again.. this is the best ramen place.

Great place to have a couple of drinks and try a fusion Asian cuisine. They allow pets if seated outside and are really accommodating! Pork belly steamed buns - tender pork belly with a crispy skin and topped with spicy mayo. Tasted good! Pozole Noodle Soup - basically a really flavourful chicken noodle soup served with crispy karage chicken. Dish was loaded with chickpeas and the noodles were really tender. The dish was also topped with a grilled poblano pepper and some crispy tortilla strips pending to its tex-mex flavour palette.

Inviting open and bright vibes. Attentive and warm service. And the flavors...I want to try more but I only have 1 meal to give on my business trip 😔 The ingredients of my tonkotsu ramen gives me a sense of thoughtfulness as to how they worked together. Broccolini looks out of place, but slightly roasted/charred it works. The char and very slight crispy bitter ends is a surprisingly refreshing contrast. Shiitake mushrooms is always welcome. Then there's the grilled chanterelles (I think) that at first looked like crispy fish skin. Egg yolk ACTUALLY GOOEY. To describe the soup: Does not taste like a traditional tonkotsu. It does have the creamy, porky fullness and I know there's something extra. My bowl was empty end of the meal. Nori fries are fire. This passes the crisp, flavor, and price test. Perfect for a table of 2 to 3. One gripe: Tapioca boba in the iced Jasmine milk tea was more stiff (undercooked) than QQ. One want: Single order steamed buns!
