Funny Greek

I’ve been a customer of this restaurant since I moved to Reynoldsburg a few years ago. Largely due to their wide range of delicious Greek dishes, American eats and affordable prices. My entree go-tos are the Chicken and Rice meal, the Cheeseburger or their 2-piece Perch and Fries. Food is prepared quickly and usually still piping hot by the time I get home a few miles away. My last batch of Perch was a bit salty, but never had that problem before so not making a big deal out of it. I also enjoy their Rice Pudding when I want a mildly sweet dessert. And their Fried Mushrooms are a savory treat especially when dipped in their Greek Dressing! Delicious food.

I love this place so much. I’ve been coming here since highschool, and even though school and work have taken me to other places, I always come back to funny greek whenever i’m in reynoldsburg. The gyros are great and the combos are such great deals. My absolute favorite go-to is the gyro salad, which i had today. It comes with a good amount of lettuce, large cut tomatoes (i love how big they cut them, diced tomatoes suck), kalmata olives, feta, onions, cucumber, banana peppers, some nice good cuts of the lamb, a huge cup of dressing, and a warmed pita on the side. It’s super filling and super refreshing. You know that feeling when you’re better after being sick and you just want something really good to eat that won’t make you feel icky? The gyro salad is literally so perfect for that. I always get it when i’m feeling a little off as well. I feel like most people probabaly won’t go for a salad because they assume they won’t get full, but that is not the case here. I recommended to my friends and now they crave it just as much as me lol! Edit: I also just wanted to mention how much this mom and pop spot has grown through the years! I notice how they are always kind, it makes you feel like they recognize/remember you even though I know for a fact that they don’t lol! I hope they continue to grow!

This place is awesome. Had my first experience tonight. Busy Saturday night. Everyone working hard. Man at the front who I can only assume is the owner, was friendly and so nice. We got 2 Gyros and Large Fries. The Gyros were delicious and filled with meat and veggies. The fries crispy and flavorful. It was so much food for under $20 that my husband and I have left overs. Love this place already. Can't wait to try more of their meu items!
