Donna's Delicious Dozen

They made the donuts fresh when we were there. Never had donuts so fresh they were still hot...and let me tell you they were amazing. The edges had a touch of crispness while the center was super soft and tender. So many topping options were available as well! I liked that they had some seasonal flavors and some standard options. Donuts were about $2.75 each which given the specialty nature wasn't bad. I would NOT go here and expect to order "a dozen" without being specific on topping, filling, and icing/frosting. Also, plan to order ahead, I think, if you want donuts for a large group.

So I was truly excited to find a GF donut shop while in Columbus. Ordered several to try and I've got to say...simple is better! The texture is great with a little crunch on the outside, soft center. The toppings are ok, thats why I say simple is better. The bacon maple..bacon would've been soo much better if it was cooked more, crunchy. The flavors are wonderful but next time, yes we will come back...we will go with a simplified donut. Price wise...a little much for what we ordered, opposed to what we received. Overall it was good and fun to try the smorgasbord of GF custom donuts.

If you love hot, delicious, cake donuts that you can customize...then RUN to Donna's! The owner, Traci, is amazing! I have had been a loyal customer for 3+ years. I have easily booked their donut truck for multiple work events and it's always a hit. They also have GLUTEN FREE donuts and guess what...you can't event tell the difference. If you're looking for the best donut in Columbus you can stop looking because it's at Donna's. 🍩

This place is great! It is similar to Duck Donuts in execution but has so many more options. We tried the Boston cream which in this case means they inject the cake donut with cream all the way around. It was outstanding. The cream kept it good even the next day. We also tried a seasonal special, the key lime. Delicious in flavor and beautiful presentation. Plus it’s a local business as opposed to a large chain. Can’t wait to try more variations.
