Hang Over Easy

I always recommend this place to my friends when they visit Columbus. The vibes are always fantastic and the food is delicious. I can never suggest just one dish because everything I've had there is amazing. I highly recommend visiting during the week or trying to join the wait-list early on the weekends. I've seen it very busy on a random Thursday morning so always check the wait-list before you plan on coming, just in case. I also always park on the street and just walk over so I'm not sure if there is dedicated parking, but it is worth it to know that parking is usually available on one of the side streets close by. This is a must visit spot for anyone new to the city or visiting from out of town.

We came on a Monday morning not busy. Chicken waffles were good portions. Chicken was breast deep fried, well seasoned to buffalo. Zesty tender moist and savory. Paired with light buttery crisp Belgian waffles contrast was excellent. One of the better chicken waffles this side of Columbus. Vibe is bowling alley/80s adolescent male mind space. Great for friend meetings but kinda might be tight for gathering s larger than 4 due to lack of parking space. Would drive out 15-30min to get here.

Small place but the food here was awesome! We scanned QR code at the door to be put on the wait list. Our wait was about 15 minutes, which was not bad for how busy they were. I ordered the "sloppy seconds" meal. It's your choice of meat (I chose bacon), 2 eggs (I chose scrambled with cheese), fried potatoes and toast. Also ordered sausage gravy and biscuit, and the "silents of the hams" omelet and coffee. Everything and I mean everythingggg was really good. Our service was great, staff was friendly. The food came out fairly quickly. I definitely recommend this place. It is a true gem. The prices are good too. I will be returning here quite often. There is street parking and a parking lot across the street.

Absolutely delicious and awesome service. Smothered and covered was not bad! Chorizo gravy could have held more flavor, but everything was well done, biscuits were good. Pancakes were absolutely delectable, and I'll always have high praise for a breakfast place that defaults to 100% maple syrup. Looking forward to coming back and trying the chicken and waffle!!

Small but quaint environment. Very cute play on words for the menu. Service was great. She was very attentive and interested in our visit since it was our first time. Food was good. We like to order many thing so we can try everything. Corned beef was excellent- just a very small portion. Coffee was not good. Not sure if that was just a fluke. Mimosas were also very tasty.

I got this recommendation from a local & it was a great one! Both the service & food were really good! It was a beautiful morning so we sat outside but the road was busier than I would have thought. I'd highly recommend the sausage skillet, menage a trois french toast, & eating inside! Skip the oj, it tastes funny & carbonated.
