Cafe Phenix - Columbus - Photo album

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this little hidden gem in the city 🌈 the eats and treats are made fresh and they have soups and sandwiches to die for. They have a special everyday and if its on the board have the seafood bisque 😊 I'm getting hungry! The owners/staff are so great even though they are busy they al
This is my favorite downtown cafe! The owner is such a pleasant man. From his pastries, decor and tremendously large drink selection... he brings a piece of the UK to central Columbus. The macchiato is amazing! They also have 60+ tea flavors, floats and more. 3-6 is happy hour 😁 some pastries are on
A charming experience, lovely art work and great comfort food. Baked goods are tasty and the croque madame was delicious. Reasonable portion sizes and a friendly staff. I am looking forward to their new location further up Gay.
Really tasty cappuccino, served in a nice glass mug, even comes with a spoon and napkin (for Columbus that is almost worth mentioning). Can't really find anything to complain about - can't go wrong with this place for a coffee in downtown I'd say!
Absolutely the BESTHot Chocolate in Columbus! (It was so good I drank about half before I thought to snap a picture). Very goof coffee as well. Cafe Phenix isn't just an espresso shop though. They have a great selection of housemade pastries, soups, sandwiches (Get the Croque Monsieur 😉), quiches,
This place has the best tea downtown. All of their little foods are delicious too! Always super nice and fast service.
We came in this morning very hungry and needing a hot beverage. We ordered some of their sandwiches which were delicious. There is some kind of sauce on them that has some kind of herbs and is sweet and tangy it is so so good on the hot sandwiches! Also had some pastries muffins were excellent very
I didn't think food of this quality existed in downtown. Classic sandwiches and soups and other fare for surprisingly reasonable prices (chips are only $0.75!) and everyone was very nice. I had the BBQ beef and cheddar sandwich which was the special of the day, and it was the perfect portion for a l
Great cup of coffee and scone. And I was able to get chicken wings for dinner. Good food cozy atmosphere.
LOVED this Tea!!! Owner was very kind and showed me the I LONG list of teas. It's a quiet comfortable place in the midst of the downtown noise. I've visited two coffee/tea shops so far as I'm traveling in Columbus and this one by far gets an excellent rating. Not too expensive either! :)
There are not many really good places for coffee downtown, but Cafe Phenix is one of them. Delicious espresso and great pastries, too. Note that they don't do drip coffee, but the pour-overs are a pretty good substitute. I'm an americano guy though. By the way, the new location is awesome. It's re
Wonderful baked goods (pastries, quiches and more), for breakfast, teatime or dessert. The coffee and tea are amazing as well. We were visiting from out of town and found ourselves eating here every morning. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the neighborhood. I highly reco
Hidden gem. Food and beverages are definitely reasonably priced and the quality is superb. Coffee is much better than the other shops around. It is apparent that the owner cares about the quality of his products. Always very friendly and attentive staff. Now my favorite spot for dine in or carr
Love this place -- it's exterior looks like a coffee shop, which is a little deceiving. They actually serve coffee, tea, shakes, smoothies, every kind of non-alcoholic drink you can think of. And their grab and go food is fresh and delicious -- pastries, quiche, sandwiches, and now soup! We haven'
The English guy with French accent is the best host ever, my kids made a mess every time we visit, he remember their names, what they like and previous conversations. Definitely has good food, we go every other Sunday to have breakfast and we are totally in Love, English pastry made our morning the
Most amazing savory pastries( ham and cheese). Also had a very wonderfully handcrafted chocolate/salted caramel milkshake. My girlfriend had an amazing Chai latte and a wonderful rock pastry. The photography and art that decorated the wall made me feel like I was waiting for my excellent treats in a
What an amazing place. Food was quick to come out, was insanely delicious, and goodness, when they say meatloaf sandwich, they meant meatloaf. As in like, they sliced an entire meatloaf and put it on a delicious brioche bun (that held up amazingly well for such a sandwich). I may exaggerate a bit, b
