This is my favorite downtown cafe! The owner is such a pleasant man. From his pastries, decor and tremendously large drink selection... he brings a piece of the UK to central Columbus. Really tasty cappuccino, served in a nice glass mug, even comes with a spoon and napkin (for Columbus that is almost worth mentioning). Can't really find anything to complain about - can't go wrong with this place for a coffee in downtown I'd say!

LOVED this Tea!!! Owner was very kind and showed me the I LONG list of teas. It's a quiet comfortable place in the midst of the downtown noise.
I've visited two coffee/tea shops so far as I'm traveling in Columbus and this one by far gets an excellent rating. Not too expensive either! :)
There are not many really good places for coffee downtown, but Cafe Phenix is one of them. Delicious espresso and great pastries, too.
Note that they don't do drip coffee, but the pour-overs are a pretty good substitute. I'm an americano guy though.
