Food was delicious and the proprietor was very nice. Also many vegan options.
The food and the service were both very good, and the Asian beer selection was commendable. The Panang curry was an especially tasty blend of coconut milk and chili peppers. Overall we had a very nice meal there.
The times I've been here, it's been good! The only downside is that I find the serving size small for the price. Vegetarian tofu options (green curry and pad see ew) have always been good and hot, but a little plain for my taste.
Service was great, friendly and polite. The panang was very good. The tom ka was good but a bit heavy on the fish sauce and a little salty, But not bad. The rum drinks were good in concept but not amazing. Better selection of booze would be necessary and maybe a craft cocktail bartender. All of this
I've heard good things but this was my first time going. Enjoyed my food. Chicken was nice and tender. Server was nice, they let us stay a little late. I'd go back
This place is a little hole in the wall, yet it is a culinary gem. I am a big fan of curry, and this place knows how to do it right. I recommend getting the PANANG curry. I usually like to get it with shrimp, but really, it's good with any meat. It's even filling as a vegetarian dish. The service wa
Best pad Thai in town! Definitely recommend trying the tempura veggies - the dipping sauce is addictive and I'd kill for the recipe! Can't wait to go back! Two foodies approved!
Diverse and Inspiring Thai Food. Great options for vegan, gf, or any diet preference. Love their Noodle Bowls. Rice noodles are wide, delicious and made in house. Eating at bar is just as comfortable as a table
Randomly strolled in here one day. Love the food. It’s not really traditional authentic but it is a good interpretation of Thai cuisine. Mee kow fried noodles is the best.
Great small plates and drink selection for happy hour. Had four small plates for two of us with no entrees. Was a little too much food. Not at all crowded mid week.
Although I was a bit disappointed they were out of the salmon, the Chicken Panang Curry was very good. $2 craft beer made for a very happy hour. A couple of flies were bothering us.
Though one would not necessarily infer this from its name, Basil Short North is an absolutely wonderful Thai restaurant that serves delicious food. They have a lunch menu and a dinner menu; in addition they serve "Happy Hour" specials [both alcoholic beverages and food] between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.
My first time there. Food was excellent and service was ok. Staff was friendly but not very available despite it being a very slow night. I think only 4 or 5 other tables.
I have ordered several items from the menu and i can not decide what my favorite dish would be. It's all wonderful. The staff are great.
Food was great, perfect spice in the dishes we ordered. Service took a minute but well worth the wait. Thanks for the great experience
