This is the real deal. Gyro is filling, the fries are crunchy. This place has even won the clean plate award. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Me and my mom have been going here since I was a kid, I'm 29 now and I won't eat at any other gyro shoppe!! Always fresh, always delicious, they stuff your gyro full and very friendly staff.

I have been getting gyros at #1 Gyro ever since he opened the West Broad restaurant. I was a regular customer where it all started, on North High, and I have also eaten at his new location on West Fifth.
Mediterranean cuisine is a favorite among family & friends. Having tried gyros in numerous establishments, we are all in unanimous agreement, #1 Gyro makes the Best in Columbus, hands down! My BFF makes it a regular stop when we go shopping.
I also love the lemon chicken soup and their rice pudding is yummy. And Baklava .. what can I say, my favorite is the classic but when my son gets them, he wants at least 3 varieties - they have about a dozen.
My son is 28. I don't think he was school age when we first met the owner as a young entrepreneur at the Acropolis. We were delighted when he opened #1 Gyro Shoppe on our side of town.
Now I'm craving and it's after hours! See you all soon!
Fantastic new spot for Greek food in Hilliard! The building is brand new and restaurant is comfortable and super clean. Food is fantastic. So happy to have this in our neighborhood!

The food here is ALWAYS amazing, the fries are like NO other, gyros fresh, sauce excellent. To take a bite of one of these bad boys is like a celebration in your mouth.

The prices are great! I got a #1, Gyro with onion rings, but the bread was cold, and it smelled a little weird. Like If it was not properly covered/stored. The young men who were working were nice and hospitable!
Solid Gyro spot. The gyro was made just right, cinnamon baklava was done well, but the falafel was forgettable. The price for all the food I picked up wasn't bad. Worth a try.

I don't eat lamb gyros but lemme tell you, this is the #1 chicken gyro shop hands down! The chicken is great quality meat and cooked to perfection. Not only that, but you get a decent amount for a great value. The offer different size gyros based on the weight of the meat. Whether I order in restaurant to go or through a delivery app, my order is always made correctly and the directions are followed accurately. There was one time (ordered in restaurant to go) where the chicken was overcooked and not up to the usual standard when I got home to eat it. So I called and politely informed them, and they were happy to remake the meal. So in addition to their amazing food, they offer great customer service as well! I order the largest chicken gyro with an extra pita and make two meals out of it! Those are often my favorite days of the week! I am now convinced I have to eat here at least 2-4 times a month. For the price and taste of the food, you can't go wrong eating here and will surely be happy you did!
I love this place. They have the best season fries, and they have a delicious hot sauce. Their baklava is so good as well as there. Chocolate cake and she's cake. My favorite is the number 9 combo with extra sauce.
Falafel was fresh/outstanding flavor! My gyro salad was huge!!! Really good too!!!! I don't live in the area but if I'm ever out that way...I might stop by again. I wanna try the baklava!!! Mad I didn't
I moved out of Columbus and the thing I miss the most about the city is this Gyro Shop. It will change your life. There is your life before, and your life after you had your first bite of this places gyros.
My last meal if I get to pick will be a number 7 combo.
Very good food! Seasoned fries were very fresh and the gyro was perfect! Best cheeseburger I've had as well. The fries here are always made fresh, it seems they keep the oil clean which makes it so much better than other food places. By the time I get home they are still crisp! I used to just get gyros, but I tried a cheeseburger and I don't go across the street to the yellow arches anymore! Staff, keep up the good work!

Food was delicious, staff was decent. Place is kind of hard to get into with the road construction. Bathroom was pretty rough. But over all good place. Most importantly the food was on point.

I've eaten here for years, and the food was great, but lately, not so much. The lamb was dry like it had been sitting for a while. Also, every time I go, the prices get higher and higher. Euro salad used to be $6 and change now its $10 not to mention the serving container is a lot smaller.
Great food at a great price. I go often and I've never had a bad experience.

Idk what has happened to this place, idk if they passed it down to their kids or if they sold it, idk. But even though the food is still pretty decent they just don't have the passion the parents had. They just slop the food together and that's that. When the old man worked there he took pride in his shop he served beautifully presented food and his attitude made it even better.
I don't think the kids really have the passion to do this.
I love their gyros and their french fries are the smoking whip and I don't order ff at all!!!
New to this side of town and had a taste for gyros. This is a wonderful place to get them. They took my order and had it out to me very quickly. The fries were tasty (which is rare for fast food places) and the gyro was delicious. The only bad thing was there wasn't that much sauce so it got a little dry towards the end of it. Thats alright though, I'll definitely be back for my gyro fix.
