What would a chocolate cafe be without a chocolate martini on the menu? I'll tell you. Yes The bar and specialty drinks are really elegant. But the best part of the chocolate cafe is the non-chocolate-centric menu. Yeah, you can purchase chocolate candy, ice cream and confections. But the salads and sandwiches are utterly delicious. Unbelievanly, the star of this show is the lobster bisque. Yup, the best in Central Ohio. Now, if they only had pickle chips to put on my three-cheese grilled cheese sandwiches, I would be in heaven. But I'll settle for the spears if I get to dunk my sandwich in the perfect lobster bisque. Magical. You must go. And buy some chocolates to go for later. If you're like me, they won't last the drive home.
I can't say enough good things about this cafe. The tomato basil or potato soup is to die for. I always have a hard time picking between the grilled cheese or the pesto/moz/tomato sandwich. Don't even get me started on the hot chocolate--the best you can find. And the chocolate covered strawberries are delicious and decorated so creatively for each holiday. You can't go wrong by choosing here to eat... you're bound to find something tasty. It is mine and my co-workers favorite place to go for a work lunch! And the owner is the sweetest person, always happy. The Chocolate Cafe is one of Columbus' best kept secrets (although, I try my best to tell everyone about it!).
Chocolate Café is a great place to enjoy good food, drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. I do have a fondness for the Triple Grilled Cheese and Bacon Sandwich with a bowl of Lobster Bisque. The highlights of the café are the wide range of desserts. They have cakes, cookies, ice cream, brownies, truffles, cupcakes and more. Something for everyone. 😊
Very friendly staff. I love this place because my kids get to eat sweets while I sit back and have a soup & sandwich combo & coffee in peace. Makes everyone happy and that's not easy to come by while out to eat. They have lots to choose from on their food menu which I did not expect. Food was good. Desserts were good. We all left happy �

This place was amazing. The staff was efficient and friendly and the desserts are phenomenal.
Favorite lunch is the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Favorite cake is the carrot, but the Chocolate multi layer is excellent also. Have to have a southern pecan coffee. Most def.

I loved how I could coordinate this event from 400 miles away and the staff nailed it..everything was all set up and ready to go when our 25 guests arrived!
Also after party was over our family stayed and enjoyed a chocolate fondue (I highly recommend the fondue)

The lunch/dinner entrees are delicious & the chocolate fondue is amazing. I've been there for meals, a wedding anniversary, dessert & a wedding shower & the Chocolate cafe never disappoints. It's a must try.
Went there Saturday with my 2 daughters for an afternoon outing. The fondue was great. We each tried different martinis so we could sample a variety. Jonathan our server was so much fun. He was so patient especially when we got to the candy counter and had to decide what we were taking home. We will definitely be going back to The Chocolate Cafe! Perfect way to spend time with my girls.
I love Chocolate Cafe. Not only is it the best food in town, the people/staff take special interest in and concern for all customers. Eating with dear friends...what could be better!

I came here to try their coffee, with it being a stop on the Columbus Coffee Trail, but I was a bit disappointed. My cortado was good not great. I got a breakfast wrap which was also good, not great. Perhaps I had too high of expectations for it.
That being said, this little cafe on the north end of Northwest Blvd has a lot to offer. Their food menu is extensive serving breakfast, lunch, and dessert (obviously). They have plenty of seating, but the parking lot is not large. I would be willing to try it again with a new perspective.
I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quick bite or coffee.
Open late on the weekends. Atmosphere is great. Remind you of a ice cream parlor restaurant. You will have a wide selections of everything so it could be overwhelming. Just get something sit down and eat and enjoy it. Seating is ample. They have high chairs and they have high seating. They also have real flowers at each table in water
I entrusted the Chocolate Cafe to make our dessert bar and wedding cake for our wedding this year. They did NOT disappoint- desserts were so good they ran out in minutes!! Everything tasted amazing, including our wedding cake, which they completely nailed on the design. They over-delivered and were so kind and gracious the whole time. They even delivered everything to our venue and set up the desserts. I would highly recommend them for any event, including your wedding!!
Date night with the wife and we stopped here for dessert. Neat “little” place. The strawberry lemonade cake, snickers cheesecake and thin mint martini were amazing. Is a must stop when you are looking for some decadent chocolate finishes.
I was woke up out of my sleep with a craving for something sweet and God had me do a Google search that led me to this Cafe. I was overwhelmed by the options when I arrived but the fat boy within was smiling from ear to ear. I ordered the Applewood bacon grilled cheese, the brownie avalanche and something for my daughter to go. We got home and everything was better than advertised and I will be returning soon to please the fat boy within
Wow, this was a yummy place! Had a tuna melt for lunch and it’s was very good! The candy selection was amazing! Since Easter is around the corner I was able to get some great treats for the little peoples Easter baskets. You order at the counter and they bring the food to table. Great services and did have to wait long at all. Definitely going to be back and definitely going to try the ice cream.
I have always loved Chocolate Cafe so choosing them for our wedding cake & desserts was an easy choice — I’m so glad we did! They were a joy to work with from our tasting through the big day. Lisa (owner) delivered the cake and other desserts we ordered herself and checked in multiple times with our wedding planner to make sure everything was perfect. The pricing is very reasonable for the high quality too— everything was so delicious!! The buckeyes and buckeye pretzels were a big hit with our guests. Highly highly recommend Chocolate Cafe!!
The cheesecake is awesome. My son says it's the best cheesecake he has ever had. We normally pick up individual slices but for his birthday I ordered the whole cheesecake and it was very delicious. Service is always great.

This is the most amazing place. Such a niche little place that is perfect to end your night. Food is amazing. Desserts are spectacular and the chocolate fondue is one of the most unique experiences in any restaurant.
Easily the best desserts I have had in my life. Well worth the price as the flavor was super rich. The menu is vast, a lot to choose from whether its a chocolate, dessert, coffee or alcoholic beverage. Can't wait to come back in the future
The staff was really friendly and helpful. We had several offerings. Their buckeye cheesecake was quite good, having peanuts in the crust. Their wrap was filling and came with mostly fresh fruit. Their chai and frozen hot chocolate were both quite tasty and I'd recommend them.
My first time. Service excellent great menu. If you have a sweet tooth 🦷 this place is for you. Went on a Wednesday at lunch time, crowded but the employees are very efficient. Again I should have taken a picture of my lunch I forgot . Moderately price. Enjoy 😍
Great service and absolutely devine oat milk frozen hot chocolate! The best we have ever had. 100% recommended! Chocolate Cafe also has plenty of desserts, hot drinks, cold drinks, and frozen drinks. Also quite a few unique items perfect for gifts for other or for yourself. Seating inside and outside and plenty of parking.
Visited on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn’t very crowded. The wide variety of chocolate, treats, food, and drinks is incredibly exciting and intriguing with everything looking and sounding amazing! I don’t believe you can go wrong with anything you order. The hot chocolate was some of the best I’ve ever had and the adventurous choice to try the apple bacon grilled cheese payed off with it being one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had. I will definitely be visiting again and recommend everyone check this cute and delicious cafe out!
Love the atmosphere in this place, also the sweets adds more flavor to my liking! Definitely a refreshing experience if you’re looking for something calm and relaxing with a plate of delicious cakes and smoothies! Will be back!
Stopped here for a take-out dinner dessert. Grabbed the Lemon Bar and it was super delicious and very creamy. Light crust and a dollop of whipped cream.
Staff were super nice. Parking a bit tight. Easy to find as they're on the corner. Want to return to try another treat.
What was most interesting was this place is way more than chocolate and coffee. They have a fancy drink bar, and sandwiches, and others.
