We were in town for a conference from Texas and we had the best experience out of all the places we’ve been to during our stay. When we first walked in right away we felt welcomed, the food portions are huge, and the food tasted delicious. Our waiter Zack was wonderful, very friendly, patient and attentive. He even told us how long it would take to get our meal. When we come back to Columbus we are for sure stopping by again.
This place is AWESOME!!! The food is incredible. I had the Philly cheese steak (or their version of it) and my wife had the fish taco-like sandwich. We shared our plates so we could each try two different things. The sandwiches were amazing. Fries and soda were great, too. We'd eat there often if we lived nearby.
So many yummy choices that it's impossible to write a comprehensive review, but the fried mac-n-cheese bites were amazing and my brisket-based cheese steak sandwich was awesome. Also tred the fried green tomatoes, highly recommend them, as well as the restaurant.
The menu is amazing...my Vegan friend was visiting and she was so happy with the Vegan menu...Love the location, great service, will diffently go again! I like this location better than the one in Easton.
Oh my gosh... if you have not been to Melt, you are crazy. Hangover Fries were a must! And any grilled cheese I can get that has PIZZA ROLLS in it...so good!!!! Our waitress was awesome! She made some great recommendations--pepperoni in my Cowabunga was so good!!!

Always wanted to try chicken and waffles, so I got the melt... Definitely lived up to the hype, I loved it! I will return next time I’m in town to try The Godfather.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! The decor, lighting and games make this a really good place to go. The menu is awesome and filled with wonderful drinks like the Pineapple Smash (pictured) which was delightful. The food was excellent! I made my own custom Melt of: cheddar and pepper jack cheese, letter, tomatoes, spinach, sautéed onions, pulled beef and ham. Accompanied with tasty mashed garlic potatoes (you have to request this on the side) and a great salad.
I will be coming back with friends as I didn't have much time and the time due to having to go back to the Arnold Classic at 7, but it was worth it! Thank you Melt.
Jennifer was great! The food was delicious. This was our first time here and we all loved it. We ordered so much food this are not in these photos. My husband has them on his phone of all 10 of our plates. We will be back for sure.
Loved it. The Hangover Fries are amazing. Get them. Also their drink/cocktail selection was really cool and all the ones we had were delicious.
They also have a lot of Vegan options and offered us a Vegan menu alongside the regular menu.
If you are in a wheelchair, be a little careful with getting into the building as the front door has a small lip. My wife had some trouble getting over it.
This is a fun place with big sandwiches and large orders of fries. The deep fried wedge you see is their mac & cheese "bites." My friends and I ordered the Wakin Bacon, Eggplant Parm and Mushroom Melt. The mushroom melt was the hands down winner. Cheesy and delicious, but not at all heavy. The fresh spinach gave the sandwich texture and freshness. Pinball games are fun. I cannot remember the name of the cocktail I had, but it had Bullet Rye and strawberry. It was great!
Great first time experience, didn't get a chance to play the pinball machines but I would have. The food was excellent! Most difficult part was choosing from an extensive menu which is never a bad thing. Food pics are of the fried pickle appetizer, peanut butter and bacon burger, and BBQ burger.
Everytime I find myself in Columbus, I make sure to find my way to Melt. This place just hits it out of the park. The ambience is second to none - it's fun, inviting, lively... it's certainly chaotic but well thought out and clever with plenty of attention to detail everywhere. The food is almost as creative as the environment, everything I've had thus far has exceeded expectations, and if you leave hungry you have only yourself to blame. If you're passing through and only have time for one stop, look no further - this is where you want to be!

Huuuge portions of food, even when you order half a sandwich. I tried a Leviathan drink and although it looked murky and gross, it was delicious! Not my favorite grilled cheese place, but their menu is impressive and there is something for everyone. Very spacious and well decorated.
I got the Monte Cristo. It was good, but my wife's bbq pork one was way better. The waiter (or cook staff) was a bit slower with service, but the manager made up for this. Everyone was friendly. I would definitely go back.
If you're looking for some really amazing food for a great price on the short north, this is the place to go! They have some absolutely incredible sandwiches and melts. The Mac and cheese was also amazing, they're pretty large portions too. There's definitely something for everyone here. There's so many items I wanted to try and I cannot wait to come back!
Awesome menu with a huge, creative selection. Great sides (try the kimchi!) And soups! Good beer selection with Ohio brews on draught and even more in bottles. Huge place too so it's good for groups; kids and big hungry folks..the portions will definitely satisfy! There's definitely a reason for its success!
During my last visit to Columbus, OH, I stopped by Melt. I wish I had more time to try more food from their menu. But I settled with the El Diablo Old Skool burger. I will say the portions are big the fries were seasoned at the right amount. As for the burger itself, it had the right amount of heat, I may have broke a small sweat. The atmosphere was fun although I didn’t stick around to play any of the arcade games they had, if I were there with my family I would have taken more time to hang out. But overall a great experience and great food.
An amazing atmosphere, but definitely go there prepared to eat a large portion. Even the halves are huge. The apps are delicious!

My first time to melt tonight. I had a cactus mule. We couldn't figure out what sandwich we wanted and we ordered a bunch of appetizers we decided to just stick with the appetizers. They filled us up fast. There are SO many choices to choose from, it was a bit overwhelming. 😂
Excellent food!! We found this place because of the vegan options, and it did not disappoint!! The impossible burger was amazing, and the noodle salad was great as well. I would recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans alike.
The sandwiches were huge and delicious! The Monti Cristo is batter dipped and fried. Served with a dusting of powdered sugar and blueberry sauce for dipping. A half sandwich is more than enough for one. Our server, Donna, was delightful.

Super fun place! Their sandwiches were a hit and the Mac and cheese was quality. We got the Monte Cristo sandwich and it was a little disappointing... a glorified hot ham and cheese. But everything else was very good! They have some old games you can play if you have quarters which was fun too. A fun family night if you check out Rocket Fizz after dinner!
My first time ever going and I loved it. Interesting choices for grilled cheese sandwiches and great/unique decor and atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.
We went with a group of almost 40 people after a convention. The staff was great, very helpful and accurate. Great selection of craft, domestic and imported beer, and a good size food menu. My meal was excellent, unique and cooked perfectly, the other meals looked great too. Very reasonable prices as well. I would definitely go back and try something else.
Food is great and service is quick. If you go, get the full sandwich. Just a few extra dollars and you will leave either feeling very full or with tomorrow's lunch. Good for a night out with friends!
