The Avenue Steak Tavern

Beautiful restaurant! My steak was cooked to absolute perfection; it was super tasty and tender. The service was excellent and the ambience was great. The steak really was the star of the show for me. I’ve never had such a well cooked and overall perfect steak before, until my experience at the Avenue.

What an amazing experience. Yusef was incredible and made the experience memorable. We never mentioned it was our wedding anniversary but at the end of the meal, he noticed the card so asked if we were celebrating anything. Then he made sure we got a complimentary cheesecake which was delicious. My wife's filet was delicious even though it was undercooked, but Yusef took care of it immediately. I don't like Brussel sprouts. But I tried theirs and they were actually very tasty. I picked the pork chop and WOW. Wood grilled to perfection 👌. The wine glaze that accompanied it elevated the taste as well. We enjoyed the experience so much we could see ourselves coming back sooner rather than later.

If I had to sum up my experience in one word, it would be wow. The food, the service, the drinks, everything was amazing. I simply can not say enough good things about The Avenue. The fondue and green beans are a must. The chicken was so tender that it was almost like butter. The steak is to die for. Service, per usual at a Cameron Mitchell restaurant, was top-notch. It's probably the best date night spot in the city of columbus. Make sure to get the anchovies on your Caesar salad because it just elevates it to another level. Out of all of the restaurants I have reviewed, no other has felt as much as a resounding five-star as here.

Really good quality food in a nonpretentious setting with friendly service at a decent price. What more do you want? I've been a couple of times now and it's consistently good. Servings are plentiful, food is brought hot, tons of choices and you don't feel like you have been taken when the bill comes. Steaks are good and I personally really like the salmon too.

Great food and customer service. Definitely make reservations. Menu was simple and easy to read. Price decent. Bread was good. The chicken was absolutely delicious. So glad I decided to go for it. I even tried the 'Tavern Salad' and as a non salad person this salad was probably the best I've had. Everyone really enjoyed their meals at the table. The wine was good as well. My only qualm is that you have to pay for parking in the back and it's a bit awkward getting around. I will definitely be back to try other items in the menu.
