Review Azteca Mexican Restaurant - Columbia

Our food was amazing, our group was satisfied with our service as well. Even though they were, like many businesses right now, understaffed but we totally understand that since we all do work or have worked in retail and food service. The sopaipillas were phenomenal 😍 we will be back 😍 but this was not our first trip lol

The food is always pretty good.. My favorite is the chimichangas, with the white cheese sauce!! Sooo delicious.. Had a great time and the staff is always very nice and helpful.. Will definitely visit again..

Azteca is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the Columbia area. The service is good, the food is great, and the store is clean. The enchiladas are AMAZING, I may be mistaking, but I think they added outdoor seating.

This was prison food in taste and appearance. We ordered food and waited an hour and a half. I went and talked with the manager and he made light of what I was saying and gave $1 off my meal that I didn't eat. Nearly everybody at our table of about 14 had a very bad experience and talked to the joke of a manager. If you're looking at reviews right now about this place before you go.... trust me DO NOT GO.

We are on a job at Tylertown MS so I decided to take my crew out to dinner just to show a little appreciation, I looked up places to eat and found Azteca and decided to take them there. The atmosphere was great waitress was attentive and quick to bring our drinks and take our orders, food arrived promptly and it all looked good. We tasted the shrimp and mind you we are all Mexican so we have eaten everywhere from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and of course Mexico so our knowledge of Mexican food is a lot different than the average person but nonetheless that is not the issue, the issue was when one of my co-workers ask another waiter about the dish (shrimp la diabla) and he says yes that's how they always cook it here to what he responds he had never tasted that dish in that way, of course everyone has their own take on things and it is all fine but then the waiter replies our customers seem to like it otherwise it wouldn't be on the menu, maybe next time you should ask them to cook it differently and by this time my co-worker was getting a little aggravated by his snooty responses and said I would not be back to what the waiter responds WELL THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM and walked off he was not even our waiter she was nice as can be. I feel a little courtesy goes a long way we never asked for restitution and do not want anything from the establishment other than to train the staff a little better than that, we come to your place to have a good time and enjoy some great food a snooty attitude shouldn't be part of the menu.

We are in Azteca at least once a week, because of the delicious food. We've always been treated well by the staff. I recommend this place to anyone wanting authentic Mexican food.

We USED to eat here all the time. WAS still a regular when in town until yesterday. The food was below average and the the young brat at the register charged us as much for my daughters plate (very small portion of fajita chicken, little bit of rice and beans) than she did for our fajita plates. Her attitude and the fact we sat there 15 min before we finally asked to be waited on kinda killed it for us. We'll have to find somewhere else to eat.

Went Azteca to eat, was in the bathroom with the lady that brings the chips and salsa, when she finished she didn't wash her hands. I thought they were always supposed to wash their hands before returning to work..

45 minutes,still no food. Food finally arrives all wrong.Waiter was awful .Refilled our glasses and gave everyone the other persons drink. Never again

Normally the food is really good but the last time me and my family went it wasn't too good. Maybe because it was almost closing time I don't know. Today was ok, the quality is what matter when eating out.
