We've been going to the Katana Sushi of Elkridge once a week for at least 5 years now and were so excited that they were announcing a new store in Columbia! Best sushi I've ever had in Maryland! The new store looks beautiful. One of my favorite of their special rolls is the tinker bell roll.
Give Katana one try and you will be hooked! We've taken so many friends here. Only warning, this will ruin all other sushi restaurants for you!
Great sushi and very good Pad Thai. Lovely staff and the more adventurous loved the deep fried Oreos.
We came and were in a rush, and the staff here was incredibly accommodating - the waitress brought our food quickly and offered to give us the checks right away to speed it up a little, the manager brought us boxes so we could head out quickly, and they were all very friendly and professional while doing so! Food was great, a little pricey but the quality was good!
Not bad at all. The sushi was pretty good. Although we didn't try any of the more exotic rolls, and that's probably why I'm not giving it a super excellent rating. Not their fault, but mine for not trying something more special. They had pretty good Thai food also. So it's not just a sushi place, but a place where you can get a lot of different Asian food. This place seemed pretty expensive to me, but of course I'm a cheapskate. But they gave us their lunch specials on Sunday. Even though their menu said it was only Monday to Saturday. So two thumbs up for that.
Love this place. Katana is my #1 place to get sushi. The fish is always fresh, and the prices are great around lunch time. It's rare for there to be a long wait for a seat and for the food to come out, and the quiet atmosphere makes good for chatting with friends or family. Really, I just can get enough of this place.
I come here usually once a week. The food is really tasty, and you get a generous portion. The sushi is good and there is a large variety of rolls. I especially like their bento boxes. The service is very friendly and there is never a crowd when I go. It's always a good dining experience and I highly recommend.
Tonight is my fourth time here and the sushi is amazing. The freshness of the food is fantastic and the plating is tastefully done. With such a great atmosphere inside from the staff greeting you as you come in to the modern decor, it is a place where you feel comfortable while dining. I will definitely be coming back here many times to come.
