First time here and it was fabulous! Their classic house margarita was delicious and the fish tacos are so fresh! We didn't have room for dessert but the chocolate piñata looked so good! Best Mexican food I've had in a long time! The salsa and Queso had the perfect amount of hot to it as well!

Nice late night meal after the movies. Friendly waiter- Jose took care of us. It was our first time eating here and we chose the outdoor seating since the weather was so nice.

Delicious food and excellent service! The steak quesadilla was amazing. The steak was flavorful and the tortillas were obviously freshly-made. Blackberry margarita was scrumptious as well! A little pricey for a lunch stop but very good. The restaurant is located in the Columbia Mall with its own exterior entrance by the parking lot.

From start to finish this place was bad. We came in on a Tuesday night, surprised that it was busy. But that isn’t a good excuse for terrible service. Host was rushed and rude and our waitress was so awkward and appalling. Very robotic movements and took my plate when I was still working on eating it. Aside from the trash service, the food is horrendous. Absolutely no flavor, and had to ask for condiments several times to spice things up. Will never come back.

We had an amazing experience today at lunch! Stephanie, our server, was so gracious, nice, and patient with my dear friend and me. We spent a lot of time catching up before ordering; she was so understanding. Our drinks and food came out very quickly. Both staff and management went out of their way to ensure a wonderful time. It’s apparent customer service is a priority. Just because, management sent us a chocolate piñata. Delicious! Will definitely return soon. Many thanks!

I want to say that I’ve had the Best Margarita in my opinion at Uncle Julio. The Mango frozen Margarita. It was simply superb!
I also got their salmon meal and it was delicious. It came with rice, pico de gao , onions , peppers .

Really liked this place.. Not like what you'd expect from the outside. The food and drinks were impressive! Loved the steak fajitas, harbenaro shrimp and chicken quesadillas, they were all very well done! Parking is a pain at the mall depending on the time of day and week!

Great food, great atmosphere, and a great waitress! Thanks Nichole for your wonderful and fast service. It is always a good sign you are getting great service when you do not even have to request a drink refill. Uncle Julio's is by far the BEST Mexican restaurant we have found in Maryland in our almost 7 years of living in Maryland. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that loves fresh Mexican food. I will be back for sure to try more of their menu.

Ive already been twice in the 3 weeks they've been open. The food is fantastic and always served very quickly and hot, even on a busy friday night with a concert at Merriweather. Their margarita menu is long and unique, delicious and never watered down. However, while everything about this place is amazing, the SERVICE is the best Ive ever received at any establishment. Friendly, accommodating, knowledgable, and working with a sense of urgency. The servers handle everything personally to make your experience the best, every time! My new fav restaurant!

So impressed with Uncle Julio’s! For starters, our waiter, Ezequiel, was so friendly and down to earth. I’d be thrilled to have him wait on us again! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the tableside guacamole. And the carnitas tacos were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The watermelon margarita was fantastic too. We’ll be coming back for sure!

Best service ever. Joshua was an excellent waiter and the table side Quac station was the best quac I have ever had. My meal was delicious as well a combo of tacos and enchiladas. The restaurant is also very clean and looks great.

This place is incredible!! We went there to celebrate my birthday and the atmosphere and the staff were phenomenal! They were fun, our waiter, Jorge, was professional and knowledgeable and I just loved him haha his recommendations on the food were truly spot on. The fajitas are Unbelievably delicious, my friend loved the margaritas and to celebrate we ordered the Piñata!! Worth the $30, honestly! Try not to overstuff yourself with the chips, salsa and white queso either haha

Couldn't wait to go there after seeing all the commercials went for my bday . They didn't have the drinks that smoke... Waitress knew a lot but kept forgetting to bring things like rice and beans drinks etc. food was really good had steak fajitas meat was great. Piñata was fun I'd go back

New! Looks nice. Crowded. Food was ok not bad but just average. Margaritas were tasty. Guac was fresh. $1 for sour cream that was supposed to come with the meal. I'd go back but enjoy MexCal's food better.
