Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe

Had to share my experience here yesterday. I have never been to the 9th street location until yesterday. Ordered online and went to pick up after work. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted and asked if I had the pick up order. She said she was just putting my last pizza in and handed me a cup and told me to get a soda if I wanted while I waited. Another worker came to help her box my pizza and proceeded to ask how my day was going. The wait was not long at all but I was impressed with the customer service they provided and the how friendly they were. Just don’t find that much anymore and I commend the two working that day for such amazing treatment of people! They really know what they’re doing. The pizzas were fantastic too!

The staff here are the tops! Ask for Stephanie and Terrell. I eat here every Tuesday with a bunch of my friends. We move the tables all around and the staff often brings us cookies as repeat customers. They know our names when we walk in. Food is great. I especially enjoy the flatbread pizza called the hog. They also take pocket points! Great experience every week I come in.

their sandwiches are soooo good. I used to settle for Jimmy Johns but having picklemans here and always available has changed my life. Thier bread is toasted perfectly! The italian club is my absolute favorite!! And the one guy behind the counter is also so nice. thank you for making great sandwiches!!

We stopped into Picklemans Gourmet Cafe on a Saturday evening. They have a fairly decent amount of sandwiches to choose from. Everything from Buffalo Chicken to a classic Italian. I generally judge a sub shop on the quality of their Italian Sub. The Italian Club (their version of the Italian sub) was what I ordered. The sub had all of the usual meats and fixin's. I apologize for not naming all of the meats and whatnot, but that really does not matter. To make it quick, this was just about the best Italian Sub I have had. It was baked and just full of flavor! If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to place for subs.

Best sandwiches on 9th Street. Very friendly staff. Here are my personal favorites: Asiago Chicken Sandwich, The pizza guy, Chicken Giardiniera, and Meatballs! They also have the best chocolate chip cookies. Their cookies are made from scratch. Oh and before I forget they also have some great soups too. Try their tomato basil and Baja chicken soups. They are delicious.
