What a way to celebrate a college graduation! The location is very unassuming (in a strip mall) but once you step inside, it’s a vibe that is a welcome surprise!
The service was excellent. Our waiter, Chris, was very informative & energetic.
The food was great…every course! We ordered the wings & crab dip as appetizers. All good and everything was consumed with vigor. 😂 Steak, Lobster & Pasta were the meals consumed. Everyone enjoyed their meal. There was small capacity for a shareable slice of key lime pie. The crust on the pie was amazing!
*Note: I made reservations months in advance of the date. Chris McD’s is listed as one of the best restaurants in Columbia, Mo. I’m from Chicago, where we have the BEST FOOD and I support the claim! An excellent visit!

Fantastic service! Josh W knew the menu, provided on point suggestions, and timed the courses perfectly. He made my 70th birthday dinner a memorable event.

It’s between a 3 and 4 for me. Food was good, our steaks were cooked appropriately, however - the ambiance, environment, etc was like 1 star. It’s disappointing they don’t take reservations unless it’s a party of 6 or more. We had to wait 30 min for a table, which wasn’t a big deal, however, there’s not really anywhere to wait unless you want to sit at the bar. We were on a date night and were sat at the very back of the restaurant at a shortened table exactly across from the double swinging doors to the pretty loud kitchen. Servers in and out, dishes clanking the whole time. Drink service was also back there and that was loud. We unfortunately were seated up against a rather loud party, which is not the restaurants fault, but when added in with the very loud kitchen, well, it just wasn’t the atmosphere we were looking forward to. We waited a good hour for our food, thankfully we got a salad otherwise it would have been quite a wait. Bread would have been nice. I don’t know, we were just disappointed. We’ve always wanted to try it and don’t mind shelling out the $$$ for an excellent dining experience, however, this was not it. If they would take reservations AND reconfigure the inside (because no one should be seated directly across from the kitchen) we would return.

First time visiter. I would definitely return. Warm spinach salad wow... why do I never think to make this myself ?? Also had 12 oz rib eye with truffle fries and broccolini. Dessert was creme Brule.... excellent. Our server was extra attractive as well which added to a luxe feeling. Felt like I was in a big city upscale restaurant with a 800 dollar bill.
Side note I tried the croutons with the wedge salad....wowwowow. soaked in delicious something yet also crunchy...
Oh and the tortellini with the sea bass was really tasty too. None of us were Disappointed until we went to a chain restaurant and felt like cafeteria experience.

This place is so unprofessional and must be new to the restaurant business I have never heard of a place that only takes reservations for groups. Huh. She told me they only did 6 or more. I ask what about family’s most don’t have 6 members in there family. I asked what about families of 4 she said well just walk in then with the most condescending voice ever. Will Never go to a restaurant that has that type of delivery on the phone again very unprofessional. I’m not going to a restaurant that refuses to take a reservation for family’s not unless you have a football team as a family. So I have decided to make this a subject on our talk show. Will not be speaking positive about this restaurant that used to be a decent place to go. No wonder C.Cs keeps all the business. They respect there customers.

Had the best roast chicken I've ever had here. We had a large group and they had our table ready when we arrived. Pleasant atmosphere and everyone had a great meal.

The food was outstanding! The service was on point. Clean, fast and efficient. They had a plan, they worked the plan, we had a great time. Again the food was amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the pairing of their steaks with their “steak butter”, garlic mashed and shoe string onions was a dance of flavors and textures. We will be going back. Now the ambiance was a little dated and meh compared to the food. But dang that food was amazing. Their cucumber ranch was also a fun surprise. Go now, you will thank me later!
