Captain D's

I had originally rated this restaurant a four-star because it was a pretty good restaurant but I went back and change my review I gave this restaurant a five star and I'm going to tell you why they got the fifth star out of me because if you read my reviews I'm down on customer service Not only was the food good and the service was great the response I got back on my review was a positive response to what I just had to go back and change it , because I ain't no way I can let that customer service get away unnoticed good job Captain D's lot of people don't get five stars out of me very few do. good job Captain D's good job keep up the good work

Great deals for $4.99. Food was hot except for my broccoli. No starter sauce was in the pump but Erica brought some to the table along with vinegar and butter which we also needed. I also visited the restroom and it was clean. The restaurant was very busy but we did not have to wait long for our order to be taken or our food to come.

I don't remember the last time I regretted eating somewhere that fast. I was looking for somewhere to get lunch, and I didn't feel like eating at Fazoli's again, do I decided to try out Captain D's. At first, everything seemed fine. The interior looks nice, the staff was friendly and my food came out pretty quick. Lemonade was out, but those things happen so nothing against them there. Everything tasted pretty good too. It was nice and hot, and the fish was pretty good. But then I found the pile of deep fried bread bits underneath my fish. The picture really doesn't do it justice. There was alot. Being the idiot I was, I started eating forkfulls of it, loving it. But then my stomach realized how greasy it was. I saw the puddles on my plate. Each bite made me feel worse and worse, to the point I was trying to pull the fish off its breading with my bare hands so I wouldn't have to eat it. I the fries were too salty and left salt sticking to my fingers with the grease. I couldn't finish it all. I made sure to wash my hands before I left, and I had to have some Tums when I made it home.

Portions of fish keep getting smaller and smaller. No malt vinegar available at the tables. I had to wait for the server to grab single serve packets. This isn't the same Captain Ds of just a few years ago. No greeting when you arrive. Restaurant was clean. Wait was almost 15 minutes for the dining room. Seems they prioritize the drive thru teaffic at a crazy ratio over the inside diners.
