Review Nick's Gyro's & Seafood - Columbia

Nick's food is consistent and delicious! I get the gyro meal. The wait at the drive thru is long; usually 10 min or so to get your food. Nick is open from 11am-2am so they staff less people at one time. I don't mind the wait at all. All the employees are courteous and helpful. Just keep in mind it's not a super quick place.

While the food is excellent, the service is awful...particularly in the drive thru. I appreciate that the food is not fast food, so it takes a while. However, every time I have been there, and I order the same thing, the price is different, or the drink may or may not be included. There is seldom a greeting other than quoting the price. And it doesn't help that the drive thru worker was eating a burger while working the drive thru. Not sure that I'll be returning...

Not happy at all! The food is very minimal portions and not flavorful. I called them back to tell them they didn't give me some of my sides. Especially how I was told when I ordered that I would receive the other two sides even though I substituted the fries for red beans and rice. The person that answered the phone about an hour ago was very rude said if you do any substitution you don't get no sides and only get the substitution.

I've been here twice since they've opened. I love my chicken Philly. I just wish they would chop the chicken up more. I don't like mine so thick and so whole. Please chop the chicken. Also, they have a sign that says they deliver but they do not. It is smelly also, like sewer and sticky floors.

Had to attend a training for my job and came across this location on Yelp & Trip Advisor under the name Nick's Gyros & Seafood (...right before we turned in, we realized that the name at this location had changed to Charley's Gyros & Seafood). The menu is the same except for the crab legs & crab cakes, which we were told are at the other location off of Two Notch. As for the food, EXCELLENT PORTIONS and food was WELL COOKED, DELICIOUS, and SEASONED WELL. Another plus, the PRICES are EXTREMELY REASONABLE. Variety of menu items, which I was initially concerned about because more items usually results in increased likelihood of food being mediocre...not the case. Even though the service and wait time took much longer than expected... probably because there was only one server/cashier by the name of Zee, the food definitely was worth the wait. Despite the lengthy wait, ZEE'S customer service was above and beyond! He was apologetic and he was exceptionally helpful -- particularly with it being our first time there. We took our food to go, but it was still very warm by the time we returned to the hotel. I had the gyro salad, and it was one of the best greek salads I've ever had. The salad was loaded with meat/lamb. Had I known the salad portion would be so large, I wouldn't have even ordered the fried flounder & shrimp...so much food, I had enough for the next day's lunch & dinner meal. The seafood was delicious especially for someone who lives on the coast and is used to fresh seafood. The Coleslaw was good but not as great as KFC'S. Look forward to going back in the future when I'm in Columbia again. Hope ZEE will still be there! 👌

My food came out right except for the Taziki's sauce and cocktail sauce... the guy who was in front of me in line ordered 10 wings I ordered 4 meals 2 other people came in and ordered and all 3 of us got our food before he did! When the man asked about it the guy running the register (who also took his order) acted like he didn't know what he was talking about was so rude about it! He told the man it wasn't a big deal this happens sometimes but still swore he never took the mans order... he told the man he'd give him a refund and that he didn't understand why he was so mad and that he didn't want the guy to come back that he didn't want his business... after the man left (I'm still waiting on my sauce) he found the order in the computer and still continued to talk crap about the man loud enough that myself and another customer could hear! Very rude and unprofessionall on this guy part! I will not be returning due to this guys behavior and complete disregard that he was in the wrong and still blamed the man!

Quality control needs improvement. Chicken gizzards tasted like they were cooked in fish oil and lacked seasoning. Cheesesteak sandwich not on par with other Nick's locations.

Food is great but every time we order gyro and wings, they half ass packing the wings and my gyro gets covered with wing sauce. Very aggravating to find good food service in columbia. Seems like nobody cares
