Always fresh seafood when I go. Yes, lines are long but that should let you know CLEARLY they have good food and great prices. I’ve been coming here since my husband and I first moved to town in 2018. I personally haven’t had a negative customer experience, and I know sometimes the staff can get overwhelmed.

First time there. Daughter wanted fish and it was crowed and a little bit slow paced. Did not ordered however tasted a piece of my daughter's fish and I liked it. May go back and try myself to give a better review. My daughter said she enjoyed it!

We support this business because it's the only one like it in this area. BUT, the owner really needs to expand his store or open another one, and hire more people. It takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour to get fresh fish cleaned and purchased any given day; cooked takeout same. It's in a mostly Black neighborhood and always packed so give the people better service.

My first time there and I ordered a croaker sandwich. The service was great. I ate the sandwich when I got home. The fish was too big and too salty. I prefer medium size croakers. I didn't know what to expect on the size. However, I will return because I have heard so many good things and I will l try something different. Looking around the place, they have a variety of seafood items, frozen and fresh.

I was visiting Columbia. Lived there some years ago and was quite familiar with Clifton's.
I wanted some bream to bring back to Florida with me. Clifton's was very accommodating.
I chose my fish, they cleaned and packed in my cooler with ice.
I also purchased some fried fish, that I chose.
It was good too!!
Loved my experience!! I'll be sure to revisit whenever I'm in town!!

Clinton's needs to use fresh cooking oil for frying seafood to go. Also when broiling trout, it needs to not be soaked in butter or oil. My son's trout sandwich was soggy. Great selection though.

It’s always the best! The blue crabs are great when they have them! The staff is polite and seem to enjoy their jobs! There isn’t a foul odor!! Hope this review was helpful! #drunkencrabs
