The service was lacking. Our waitress was on her phone and another waiter had to tell her to go take our order after we sat there for awhile sipping our drinks. Monterrey Mexican Restaurant on Senate Street in Columbia is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful Mexican food. I really like the location and atmosphere that they have here. I have had an enjoyable experience every time I have been here. Cool place.

Cheap food and drinks, especially margaritas. Happy hour is worth it for the cocktails! However, it always takes an eternity to pay... It's usually understaffed and the service could be improved.

Everyone was pleasantly nice got seated fast drinks was on point excellent waiter/waitress was very nice although we could hardly understand each other lol first time there experience was good will return 👍🏾👍🏾
