San Jose Mexican Restaurant

This place is delicious in my opinion. I ate inside for the first time in three years and only the second indoor dining in this time period both in the last month. We have ALWAYS enjoyed the food here and the portions are just as good and prices are basically the same in these times of rising prices which some of it is just gouging and politicians. San Jose remains one of our favorite places along with being close and convenient. Parking can be tough but that just tells you other people also think it's excellent food and excellent value which is a great combination for customer satisfaction which is the NUMBER ONE priority of importance ALWAYS. KUDOS TO SAN JOSE!!

Maybe I should not go at the end of the lunch specials time but it was 2pm. I placed an order for a taco and tamale. The tamale was warm but it tasted ok. My taco was a shell with meat and a hunk of cheese and a little(very little) lettuce. It was also cold. I work real close to this place so I know my food could not have gotten cold that quick.

The Steak Fajitas for two was delicious. Seasoned well and very good flavor. My only concern was the small portion of the rice and beans. There's two containers (one for each person) BUT neither of the containers were full. Far from it. As if the amount to fill one container was split for the order.

I went this week Tuesday the food was mediocre. I ordered a chicken quesadilla… it didn’t have any cheese in it. I ordered food to go taco and enchiladas special the beef in the enchilada looked and tasted like it was sitting out or made hours ago. The person I ordered it for literally threw it away. After this experience I remembered why I haven’t been then in 8 years. It very disappointing. Yuck
