Review Senor Fajitas - Columbia City

I love this place! My family moved here from New Mexico about 9 years ago. And we've tried EVERY Mexican place around here, Warsaw and fort Wayne. This place is authentic and taste just like home. It's a family owned business and the vibes are it! If you haven't, give this place a try 😉 and make sure when you go to ask for the HOT salsa. The super burrito is amazing! And so is the enchilada dinner plate.

I bring my 4 children to CC every Monday for music lessons. Monday is dubbed “Mexican Monday” our usual place was closed this Monday so we decided to try Senior Fajita. It’s a hole in the wall so I thought it was going to be good. … I guess let’s start with the positives- our waiter was nice, and you can tell he was really trying. … Now let’s talk about food: it’s edible. The salsa was SALTY, SO SALTY. The chips are STALE. The arrows con pollo 3 of my 4 children ordered was flavorless with queso over one small spot it was mostly dry. My daughter ordered arrows con asada - and same flavorless and dry (she didn’t even eat hers) I ordered fajita chimichanga and the fajita veggies were mush. I didn’t eat the breading/ shell because it tasted like it was fried in old grease. I ordered queso with steak and received queso (milky low quality) w/ ground beef that was worse than Taco Bell quality meat. Also, the quantity of food that was on my childrens plate was laughable in compared to what we receive for the same meal elsewhere. It was mostly all beans with a small portion of rice and meat. Our family eats Mexican frequently and have tried MANY places. This was HANDS DOWN the WORST Mexican restaurant we have ever been too, and definitely will never return. Our bill was over $70 which I have no issue spending when the food is good. I contemplated leaving an honest review because even though the food is trash our waiter was speed walking everywhere, trying super hard to service customers bless his heart.

Food is good and so is service. However, lately good luck actually being able to dine in. I have tried to eat there 6 time in the last few month. I keep reading a sign saying they are out on vacation or shortage. I drive from Fort Wayne into Columbia City for business. I plan to eat there everytime and they are closed. They must be doing well to take that many vacation. **Update**: I'm done going in. Food has really gone down hill. Service is really slow and hard to even get a refill on your drink. It would also help if my food was actually hot too.

The salsa was good and fresh,the tacos were tiny and tasted like tacobell fast food ,not pleased especially for a Mexican restaurant, very disappointing, the arroz con Pollo was so salty it was hard to even finish,I honestly am quite frustrated that the sign says have a seat and we sat down and the waitress had us stand back up so she can wipe the table down then have us stand and wait then sit back down it was pretty unprofessional, all in all for Mexican food this is very disappointing and will never be back,I'm surprised a Mexican restaurant doesn't have horchata on the menu or Asada or pastor,the queso dip tasted like runny milk or a cheap cheese sauce from Walmart ,any body who is okay with this has no taste in actual food

We stopped by for dinner tonight and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The staff were extremely nice and attended us well and the fajitas were very good. Also as a bonus one of the first local places I've been to that had corn tortillas. Tip - Try the margaritas they were nice and strong and looks like they run specials throughout the week. I will say for a $4 margarita it hit the spot.

We absolutely love Señor Fajitas! The drinks, food and salsa are always to perfection! The staff is like family ❤

Good food. Nothing fancy but the atmosphere is very friendly. Our take out orders are usually more wrong than correct, but we continue to go back.

I love this place! So family oriented, the owner walks around to tables and makes sure his guest are fine and food is good! I'm from new mexico and just moved her recently and have not been able to find ANY or chili close to home, but this place comes #1 of ALL places we've been to here, fort wayne and warsaw.

The worst service I have ever had in my life. I had to pour my own drink and wait 10 minutes for my food after everyone got their food. They charged me wrong on my bill and was higher than what the bill said.

Best quesadilla I've ever had. They don't skimp on the protein! Margaritas were amazing and the salsa was phenomenal. I only wish the place was a bit larger and updated. And a changing table in the bathroom would be nice.

The nachos are awesome, Tamales are the best in town. Atmosphere and staff is always pleasant. Prices are very fair for the portions you get. I dont know if they make the salsa in house but it taste better than other Mexican restaurants around that all have the same tasting salsa. I usually eat here once a week.

Eat here at least once a week, lunch service is the fastest there is in town! Have liked everything I have tried and the price is good.

I love the people and the food. I have eaten the owners' food multiple time and it's awesome! Janina the server is weird but gives great service!!

Great food and low-key chill atmosphere. The portions are better than El Dorado also. I shall return.

Amazing food, amazing margaritas!! The atmosphere is awesome. The waitresses are right on the ball and they are always smiling.

Quesadillas were like shitty tacos, chicken tasted like fish! Beer was cold though!

The food was so good I literally forgot I had a beer to drink. Great service, great people. Skip Bandidos and check out this gem.
