I love this place! I've been there several times. Their food is delicious and reasonably priced. Their salsa is unlike I've ever had -- it's peppery and tasty. Their avocado pork burrito is out of this world, and their carne asada tacos are flavorful and come with a crispy taco that's not crunchy. Their margaritas are lovely as well. I'm excited to try their brunch menu. The service is friendly, fast, and kind.

Eat here! Checked out Chile Colorado in Downtown Colorado Springs last night and seriously considered going back for breakfast this morning. It was that good (and the breakfast menu looks awesome)! Hearty, scratch-made homestyle food with flavors that really pop. The salsa is addictive and managed to appeal to the spice-lovers AND the spice-avoiders at our table. I’d never heard of the dish “chile colorado” before and it instantly became something I’ll seek out over and over again. The sides are as flavorful and lovingly made as the main dishes, and my daughter fell in love with the fideo. I forgot to take pics of the house margarita and the mezcalita, both good. The interior is stunning and the bright colors and fun music are guranteed to boost your mood. It’s a family-owned and family-run business. Everyone is sooooooo friendly and helpful.

Pros: Excellent service Beautiful restaurant BEST chips ! Salsa pretty good too. Enchiladas and tacos were really good and the enchilada sauce was obviously authentic and homemade. If you like spicy, , then it's a win. Horchata was the most authentic i've had. Super delicious. They had an excellent mix drink menu with many creative choices. Cons: I am not sure how they're guacamole is being made but it tasted like it was maybe half fresh guacamole and half mix it just did not taste, right? I tried to fix it by adding sour cream and salsa. But I just couldn't fix it. Unfortunately they put it on my pork Burrito as well. They offer a avocado in burrito, which sounds great. But the avocado they used once again inside of it was the same guacamole that they offer. I don't know why but it was listed as $8:00 but they only charged me $5. Maybe that's because they could have been out of fresh guacamole that day? The Spanish rice was served as if it had been picked up with an ice cream scooper and plopped on the plate, which is fine if it was good Spanish rice but this was a clump of overcooked and under flavored Spanish rice. Not your typical light orange fluffy light Spanish rice. Beans- the beans were fabulous however unfortunately they were cold.

Amazing food I recently had the pleasure of trying the steak burritos and I must say, they were absolutely amazing! The carne asada was cooked to perfection and tasted tender and juicy. The burritos were generously stuffed with the meat, along with some delicious rice and beans. The combination of tastes and textures was simply fantastic. To top it off, we also tried the enchiladas, which were equally delicious. The flavors were bold and the spices were just right. Everything was so tasty that we completely forgot to leave room for dessert! Overall, I would highly recommend trying these steak burritos and enchiladas if you're in the mood for some authentic and mouthwatering Mexican food. The flavor combinations and quality of ingredients make for a truly satisfying meal. I can't wait to go back and indulge again!

The food was absolutely delicious 😋🤤 I'll start there. This place was recommended to us by my friend Kathy G who's cousins with this owner So why not with me being a Mexican food lover and I've claimed it as my new favorite in Colorado springs 👍👍👍👍👍 5 thumbs up. It tastes like my mom's cooking I grew up with. Definitely be back soon. I had cheese enchilada plate and my partner had the deep fried burrito The guacamole was fresh and perfectly seasoned

Awesome new restaurant in downtown COS! The queso dip was amazing. The Spanish rice and refried beans were also delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and to try something new. The people here are so friendly and welcoming. Prices are actually quite reasonable for the combos.
