The best sweet potato pie I’ve ever tasted. Wonderful service, kind real people. I got the wings, Mac and cheese, and cabbage and it was absolutely phenomenal & so flavorful and my bf got the catfish sandwich I was kinda upset I didn’t get that it smelled delicious !
I ordered the Seafood Gumbo and the Fried Chicken wings, collards, and Mac and cheese. Large portions, great flavor. The owner was so welcoming and the environment at the restaurant so warm and kind. Highly recommend you stop in a see for yourself !

Family owned/run business. They are absolutely amazing and know what we like, remember us and always up for a friendly conversation. The food is always delicious and I frequently recommend this place to others. My favorite is smothered pork chops, green beans and potato salad with a Thai tea. Happy
The best food I've had in the springs!! Better than any of the many chain restaurants that seem to be over abundant in COS. Fish, ribs are excellent but it's all about the gumbo. Only on Friday! Fantastic bbq. I got the pulled pork and it was flavorful and juicy. The sides were even better than the bbq. I had fried cabbage and cole slaw and they were delicious. The slaw didn't have too much mayo and I had never had fried cabbage but I loved it. Service was fast and friendly too.

Oh my goodness I am so overjoyed with excitement that my husband and I have finally found a BBQ/SOUL food restaurant! We have lived in pueblo colorado for three years and been from denver all the way to raton Mexico trying to find some good BBQ. Mayos is not good BBQ it's freaking fantabulous bbq!!
The best soul food spot I've ever been to in the springs by far. The porkchop I get is as big as my head and the homemade jerky is to die for. They cut down to just friday and Saturday business hours so go check it out!
